Installation Instructions

1. Contents of packaging:
• Level gauge.
• Self-tapper screws.
• Double sided sticky pad.
• Connectors.
• Instructions with diagram and features.

2. Mounting:
• Mount the LED gauge in a suitable place using the sticky pad or screws provided.

3. Wiring:
• If you require the gauge to be on at all times, even when operating on petrol,
connect the power supply wire from the ignition switch controlled source of +12
Volts, or use +12 Volts from the gas petrol changeover switch (gas side) if you
require the gauge to operate only when the vehicle is operating on LPG. The 0-90
Ohm sender is connected to the terminal marked S. If the sender has 2 terminals,
the other terminal is connected to vehicle ground. The remaining terminal on the
gauge is the earth terminal and is connected to vehicle ground. Make sure this
terminal is connected to vehicle ground and not a plastic or insulating panel.

4. Testing:
• The gauge should now operate with the ignition switch and or petrol gas changeover
switch. If the gauge always reads full and doesn’t follow the fuel sender position, it
indicates the sender wire or sender itself is open circuit or not connected. If the
gauge always remains empty (red lamp on) it indicates the sender wire or sender is
shorted to vehicle ground.

5. Final Checks:
• Check wiring for security.
• Check mounting.

6. Warranty:
• Apexus Pty. Ltd. supplied gauges are warranted against faults in manufacture or
componentry for the life of the vehicle the device is originally fitted to. Upon receipt
of a faulty gauge Apexus Pty. Ltd. will repair or replace the gauge at no cost to the
owner. All freight charges for shipping faulty gauges to or from Apexus Pty. Ltd.
remain the responsibility of the owner. As Apexus Pty. Ltd. has no control over the
installation the warranty does not extend to consequential or subsequent damage.
