THRUST BEARING
Before removing the gearbox :
- release the clip 1
- pull the fork lever towards the
back of the vehicle to unclip
the thrust bearing
After fitting the mechanism,
lock the clip 1 .
The hubs of the plates are nickel-plated ;
degrease the hubs and the input shaft.
Fit dry.

Tappet adjustment on clutch servo :
new clutch.
• A : measurement to be taken on vehicle (tool 3231).
• B : tappet protrusion measurement.
• Adjust B so that : B = A – 69 mm ± 1
Remember to perform this
adjustment after changing a
clutch plate.

SLAVE CYLINDER
WABCO
Slave cylinder with fluid inlet at rear
To fit and adjust :
Push piston 1 to obtain
C ³ 83 mm.
Place the now adjusted slave
cylinder onto its support 3
(J ³ 26 mm).
Secure the slave cylinder
Danger :
Do not operate a slave cylinder
hydraulically when not fixed on
the support.
Slave cylinder with fluid inlet at side
To fit and adjust :
Fit tool 2441.
Operate the slave cylinder
hydraulically until the pedal is stiff
(C ³ 96 mm).
Remove tool 2441.
Place the now adjusted slave
cylinder onto its support 3
(J ³ 26 mm).
Secure the slave cylinder.
When the rod has been pushed :
DO NOT PUSH IT BACK, EVEN FOR A MOMENT. IF YOU DO, YOU WILL HAVE
TO GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING AND START AGAIN !
