1. What is the basic purpose of doing Christian mission? Why it is so? Explain.

The basic purpose of doing Christian mission is to inspire us to believe in Jesus Christ
and keep us in touch with Him. The Christian mission of spreading the Good News aims to teach
people to do good and be good, following in Jesus Christ’s footsteps. In short, I believe Christian
mission is all about Jesus Christ and its purpose is for us to have faith in Him and continue to
strengthen that faith by living as He had exemplified because He is the Living God. Because He
is the center of the Christian mission and our faith, we seek to live His mission to evangelize,
save, and transform.

2. Describe the way/style of Jesus in doing his mission.

Jesus’ style in doing His mission is through love, service, sacrifice, and forgiveness. As
our perfect example, He taught and showed us how to live the Christian life by caring for the
sick, the poor, the weak, and even the sinners. He did not discriminate against anyone and His
love is boundless and offered to anyone who needs it. He is all-powerful but He is not
authoritative, and instead chose to serve the people. He sacrificed His life to save us from sin
and forgave those who persecute Him. We hope to live through His great epitome of love.
