The knowledge of the classifications of assessment help improve
teaching in terms of teacher will be able to create the appropriate assessment
and teacher will be able to clearly plan his/her purpose. Also, it helps the
teacher to decide how to improve their instruction until learners are able to
meet the learning targets.

To identify the needs of learners in order to modify instruction or
learning activities in the classroom so that, students can be assisted in
achieving curriculum outcomes. Also, it helps learners become self-regulated to

Educational assessment. Because it tracks the growth of learners and
grading their performance. Also, in the form of formative and summative
