Recruitment for the post of PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR, NURSING SUPERINTENDENT, ASST.DEPUTY NURSING SUPDT/HEAD
NURSE, STAFF NURSE, CAS RMO/MEDICAL OFFICERS, DIETICIAN, BIO MEDICAL
ENGINEER, PHARMACY SUPERVISOR OP/IP, MEDICAL RECORD OFFICER,
PHARMACISTS on Contract basis to work in the Telangana Institute Of Medical Sciences and
Research, Gachibowli, Rangareddy District.
Applications are invited online https://mhsrb.telangana.gov.in from eligible candidates to fill up
499 Posts of above categories on Contract basis in the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences and
Research, Gachibowli, Rangareddy District for a period of one year or till the need ceases,
whichever is earlier.
Online application submission starts from 16 June 2020.
Last date for Submission of Online application is 5 PM on 19 June 2020
I. Eligibility Criteria
1. Education Qualifications: Applicants must possess the following minimum
educational qualifications from an Institution registered with relevant Council.

(c) Must posses 5 years experience as Head Nurse.
3 Asst. Deputy Nursing (a) Must have obtained a Degree of B.Sc Nursing or General
Superintendent / Head Nurse Nursing Midwifery from a University in India established or
Incorporated by or under a central Act Provincial Act or a State Act
or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission of
any other equivalent qualification thereto
(b) Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife. (Telangana State

(c) Must posses 5 years experience as Staff Nurse.
4 Staff Nurse (a) Must have obtained a Degree of B.Sc Nursing or General
Nursing Midwifery from a University in India established or
Incorporated by or under a central Act Provincial Act or a State Act
or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission of
any other equivalent qualification thereto
(b) Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife. (Telangana State

5 Dietician (i) Must possess a B.Sc. Degree of a University in India established
or incorporated by or under a Central Act, provincial Act or a State

(ii) Must have passed one year course of Diploma in Applied
Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution. Telangana

6 Biomedical Engineer Bachelor of Engineer or Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical

7 Pharmacy Supervisor OP/ IP Minimum general Educational Qualification prescribed in the
Scheduled to the general rule or Preferably pass in P.U.C or other
equivalent examination of any Institution under University Grant

(a) A diploma in Pharmacy or

9 Medical Record Officer (a) A degree of B A., B.Sc., or B.Com. or any equivalent Bachelor
Degree of a recognized University; and preference shall be given to a
Graduate with statistics as a subject ;
(b) Preference shall be given to candidates with Hospital experience
for a minimum period of six months ;
(c) Preference shall also be given to candidates with a pass in Lower
Grade Typewriting examination or knowledge of typewriting with a
minimum speed of 40 words per minute;
(d) Ordinarily one year training as Medical Record Officer in the
Christian Medical College, Vellore or any other recognised centre or
the equivalent thereof :

2. Age: The minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 34 years and shall be reckoned as
on 01-07- 2020 with the following relaxations allowed for reckoning the maximum age limit
as per rules:
i. For SCs, STs & BCs - 5 (Five) years
ii. For Ex-Service men/women - 3 (three) years in addition to the length of
service in the armed forces.
iii. For Disabled persons - 10 (ten) years
iv. Retired persons - below 65 years
v. The maximum age limit for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor is 65 years.
3. Registration with relevant Council: All applicants should possess a valid Registration with
the Relevant Council as on 1st June 2020.
II. Selection Criteria:
A) Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor:
a) Merit in the Academic qualifications will be the considered for Selection.
b) No. of years of Teaching Experience in that particular category (Professors, Associate
Professors, Assistant Professors and Tutors)
c) No. of years of Teaching experience in Total.
d) Number of publications.
e) Rule of Reservation will be followed by applying the 100 Point Roster.
f) The following equivalence formula between grades and marks in the cases of candidates who
have obtained Degree from Foreign Universities:

g) For Foreign Degrees without any grades and marks only pass mentioned 50% will be taken.
h) For DNB/Other Degrees where no marks are awarded it will be taken also as 50%.
i) Doctors with MRCP/PG Degree from Central institutes {recognized by the Medical Council of
India which is mentioned in the II&III Schedules of Medical Council of India} where only pass
is indicated, the average percentage of marks in their speciality can be considered and the
registration of Telangana State Medical Council is mandatory.
B) Other categories:
a) Merit in the Academic qualifications will be the sole criteria for Selection.
b) Experience is required for the post of Nursing Superintendent, Assistant Deputy Nursing
Superintendent / Head Nurse and Pharmacy Supervisor OP / IP as mentioned in the
qualifications.
c) Rule of Reservation will be followed by applying the 100 Point Roster.
d) The following equivalence formula between grades and marks in the cases of candidates who
have obtained Degree from Foreign Universities:

III. Details of Vacancies and remuneration are as follows: The number of vacancies can be
increased or reduced by the authorities, without citing any reasons.

Instructions to Candidates:
1. All Applications will be received online only. Please visit https://mhsrb.telangana.gov.in
to access and fill up the application online.
2. The applicant shall register his/her mobile number on which he/she will receive an OTP
for every access. All communication with the applicant will be made through their
registered mobile number and email ID only
3. All the applicants are requested to read and follow the instructions carefully while filling
up the application.
4. The particulars furnished by the applicant in the Application Form will be taken as final,
and selection will be based on the data furnished. Candidates should, therefore, be very
careful in filling the application and in Uploading / Submitting the Application Form
Online.
5. No changes or corrections will be permitted after submission of the application
6. After submission of the application, the applicant will receive an Application Registration
Number and the applicants are requested to note and save it properly for future purpose.
7. Separate application should be filed when a candidate applying for more than one post.
8. The following documents will be needed to be uploaded along with application.

e) MBBS Registration from Telangana/AP Medical Council, additional PG qualification
registration from Telangana State Medical Council only (without registration application
will be rejected) ** Outside state candidates should get their qualification registered from
Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection, for their appointment to be
confirmed.
f) Copy of experience certificate for all teaching appointments held
g) Copies of Publications with proof of Indexation.
h) The Photograph along with Signature as a single file in JPG format. The file should be below
100 KB
i) SSC or Equivalent Certificate. The File should be in JPG format and file size should be below
1 MB.
j) Study Certificate/ Bonafide Certificate for Classes 1st to 7th .
k) Caste certificate issued by the competent authority The file should be in JPG format and file
size should be below 1 MB.
l)Physically Handicapped Certificate, if applicable. The file should be in JPG format and file size
should be below 1 MB.
m) Ex-Servicemen / Woman Certificate, if applicable. The file should be in JPG format and file
size
should be below 1 MB.
n) TS Council Registration Certificate. The file should be in JPG format and file size should be
below 1 MB.
o) The Marks memos of all the Years/Consolidated Marks Memos as a Single PDF File. The File
size should be below 3 MB.
p) Candidates should NOT upload Post-Basic B Sc Nursing Degree Course Memos, as the
Qualifying educational qualification is B Sc (Nursing).
