The document discusses interventions for a patient diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum. The midwife should have the patient follow a bland, low-fat diet with small, frequent feedings and sips of water to avoid triggering vomiting. The patient should also avoid stimuli that can cause nausea, like tight clothes or strong smells. Taking prescribed anti-nausea medications and getting enough rest are also recommended interventions.
