Pamor

Current year 1044 P.1stI

As the sibling to the two insular continents of Alta, the Land of the Giants, and
Ronash with its God Kings. Pamor's history isn’t very connected with the other
two.
The first demon incursion “Shock”: Through unknown rituals done by a relatively
small cult of demon worshipers, the Omega Gate was created. A portal to the
Nine Hells that activates when the blood of a valiant enemy of the nine hells is
poured upon it. The first time the Omega Gate was opened was about when most
modern calendars begin, around 1044 years ago. It was opened where the Great
Union now stands, a place then known as the Unclaimed Lands. The hordes of
demons raged across the unclaimed hills pillaging and attacking the few
settlements of humans and tritons, until they reached the borders of the kingdom
of Ban and the Yuwan Empire, in what is now the Theay Confederacy, where the
demon hordes found their first real opposition. Despite the valiant defense of
both nations, the hordes still managed to break through, reaching as far as the
capitals of both before being stopped by the great Primordial Beasts, summoned
by the Empress of Yuwan. The Empress would go on to sacrifice herself in an
attempt to close the Omega Gate, after nearly twenty years of war.
The fall of the Yuwan Empire: following the end of the war, the Empress' death
and the mysterious disappearance of her heirs, the Empire began to wane due to
lack of leadership and the devastation of much of its military losing much of its
land to the kingdom of Ban. This decline would go on for over two generations.
The creation of the great citadel Theay: Sixty years after the First Incursion and
with the help of the Sun Elves and the Dwarves of Typhon, seeking to establish a
military alliance with the kingdom of Ban had finished building the Great Citadel,
meant to house the Omega Gate. It was built a day’s travel away from the Sun
Spire and was named after the elvish word for “everlasting”. The Citadel slowly
grew into more of a hub for magic and wizardry with many from across the
continent flocking there to learn the Arcane arts housed within it.
The second demon incursion “The Fury”: It began 464 years after the first
incursion at the hands of an, up to that point, unimportant wizard apprentice
named Heser. Not much is known about him, why he made the deal with the
demons, or how he spilled blood on the gate, but many still feel the aftermath of
his actions to this day. Not only because of the second incursion he started, but
also because he was the first of a new kind of foot soldiers the demons employed,
for he was the first Tiefling.
Despite the fact the Citadel should have been destroyed, through a combination
of magic and preparation, it managed to evade being completely razed. The
people of the Sun Spire and the kingdom of Ban were willing to see the Citadel
destroyed if it meant weakening the invading horde, but the help of the surviving
wizards in repelling the invasion allowed the Citadel to survive.
As the hordes raged through what then was the kingdom of Ban, turning more
innocents and worshiper alike into Tieflings, the many kingdoms in the region of
Korameer began to prepare for war.
When the supposed “Great demon army” arrived the combined forces of
Korameer saw in its place battered and strange looking peasants, assuming them
to be refugees, much to the Koranights’ dismay, most of the recently sheltered
refugees began to transform into demons that would go on to wreak havoc where
they had been located; the free plains and the Jungles, the home of the Orcs. As
the armies regrouped in an attempt to push them deeper into the jungle, one of
the demon lords began a ritual to turn the Jungles of Korameer into a desert in
the hopes of distracting the opposing coalition armies from reaching the Omega
Gate but failed in drawing their attention away, turning the jungles into a
permanent dessert in would come to be known as The Burned. The remaining
demonic forces retreated into the nine hells by reopening the Omega Gate in the
desert.
What was left behind of the corrupted peasantry would later become the Tiefling
population of the Pamor.
The rise of Theay Confederacy and the fall of Ban: After the end of the second
incursion the Kingdom of Ban witnessed an era of decline due to lack of significant
leadership. The Circle of Twelve seeing their chance, began a takeover, imposing
their own reforms upon it, eventually evolving it into the Theay Confederacy.
The 3rd demon incursion “the whimper”:

Korameer
is a large swath of land claimed by a man (named logain renthas) who claims to
be the chosen hero (the phoenix), meant to stop the 4 th great demon incursion.
He has been ruling for 65 years and has yet to accomplish any of the prophecy’s
tenants, though he has helped improve the lives of the humans under his rule. His
unstable nature and undiplomatic ways have spurned the other races in the
region, when he came to power. He changed the capital from the old city of
korameer (renaming it to first wall) into the mountain temple of uirto (a temple
dedicated to all of the human gods) which he turned into a mountain city that
even the dwarves couldn’t match renaming it to new korameer. He has instituted
many changes and new projects; the most drastic of his changes besides the
change in capital is that he forced most of the nobility that had served under the
old king to live in the new capital and either appointing new nobility in their place
or letting the peasants decide who rules among them. His two most important
projects are the large section of land around the new capital that he converted
into farmland and the giant statue made in the image of the old king made to
function as a magical focus. The only race besides humans to largely submit to the
rule of the phoenix are the gnomes/halfings. Otherwise it’s a relatively
unorganized land home to most other races

The regions of korameer

the burn: a large magically made desert made by the demons that invaded during
the 2nd incursion throughout it’s history it’s mostly been home to the orks but
after it’s transformation from lush jungle to desert some ancient races were
awakened and are now roaming the desert.
The jaw: a mountain range whose surface is stuffed with beasts and monsters and
underneath it lies the largest dwarven mountain-home stitargon (scorch-fang)
and on it’s ends are the costal dragon born city of glass fang and the moon spire
The cursed lands: About 164 years ago, a part of the continent began to frieze
over and anything that died their began to rise and became undead
The free plains: it is the border between korameer and theay, an uncontrolled
practically wild land the only reason theay hasn’t conquered it is because of the
many bandit gangs and rugged villagers that inhabit the free plains
Elda forest: is a forested region where most of korameers goblins, hobgoblins and
bugbears make their home. It was also the place of the winter spire stood before
it’s fall.
The empty coast: This region never had any importance besides spotting battle
ships from ronash and the fall spire.
The staging grounds: this is where the 3rd demon incursion ended and the old
capital of korameer now first shield are located, along the college of scadin which
was built to train wizards (specifically abjurers) to keep the omega portal closed.

The people of korameer

Humans of korameer: most of the human population in korameer live in new
korameer some cities and villages remain in the empty coast the staging ground
and the free plains.
Most of the nobility that surved under the old king were forced to move to the
city of new korameer and new nobility appointed in their place.
Halflings/gnomes: most live in clans that sprung up around other settlements.
Dwarves: all dwarves in the world of ordain are living statues made from a mix of
stone, metal and gemstones and then the unanimated statue is lowered into the
admantium river under stitargon and brought to life. most dwarves are either
made for a specific reason by the mountain home or commissioned by a dwarven
family or guild to be raised by them. All dwarves have a curse as some might think
of it that means that randomly a dwarf will have a design of an item pop into their
mind and consume their thoughts until the make said item
The dwarves of stitargon (scorch fang): the oldest of all dwarf mountain homes
and only place new dwarfs can be made, it has always be a prospers land it
consists of most of the jaw mountain range specifically around the volcano named
moradin’s forge.

The dwarves of stitargoshgen (free of the fang): it’s one of three independent
cities to break off from the main mountain home in the last 1044 years and is the
second oldest and only surviving one

Orks of the burn: livening in a dessert after hunders of years of living in the forest
was at first very hard for the orks to adapted even though they always were a
tribal society the 9 tribes of ork were always codependent. Now being split apart
forced to live around the few oasis they were able to make/save the already
tough orks have only gotten tougher.
Elves of korameer:
The fall elves: the fall elves have all of the stereotypical elven featured pointy
ears, above average height and a slight build. But have features not shared by
other elven sub-races they tend to be bald or have very wispy hair and red-orange
skin that has yellow strips
They are known to live in a very democratic society after the destruction of their
spire due to the actions of their mad queen. As the children of the god damadred
they tend to suffer from bouts of rage when in the presence of aberrations
The winter elves: they were the most human in appearance and the shortest of
all the elves not much is known about them anymore after their entire line was
destroyed in a mysterious event that happened around 300 years ago. As the
children of the goddess sline they tended to suffer from a great wander lust
The wood elves of great tree Adam: though the elves of great tree Adam don’t
differ much from the other wood elves in appearance (wood colored/textured
skin and green tinted hair) their culture is vastly different from all elves. being
very honor bond about the strangest things and going into fist fights to uphold
the honor of whatever you broke. As children of the god corilon they tend to
focus on their art with their all
The moon elves: they are the elves that tend to be found the furthest away from
their spire and fond in other spires or even the great trees as they were
appointed as the emissaries between all the other spires. As the children of the
goddess sline they tend to suffer from a great wander lust
Dragonborn in korameer: in korameer lies the only city primarily inhabited by
dragonborn in the world besides the city of glass fang most dragonborn in
korameer tend to live lives like most other dragonborn made by a dragon to
accomplish a certain goal while the dragon sleeps.

Locations of interest in korameer

The mountain city of new korameer: before it was the capital it was the
monastery of uirto a monetary dedicated the central human gods. After the
assentation of the lord phoenix to the throne of korameer he moved both the
capital and most of the nobility that served under the previous king, using his
magic to transform the small mountain that the monastery was built into from a
small raised piece of land into a mountain bigger than some of the other regions
The castle of rend in the elda forest: it’s said that the goblinouds (goblins,
hobgoblin and bugbears) that live in the elda have supposedly built a castle in the
forest the size, style, quality and realty of the castle are still unknown.
The city of first shield: the old king’s vizier Leon barbedlijun is now ruling the
previous capital of korameer after the Phoenix Lord put him in charge. Leon

Lord Leon Barbedlijun (human cleric): the vizier of the old king, Leon is a man
who was only ever loyal to his country and religion (the church of asuth the
answer) so when the phoenix gave him the order to fortify the staging ground
Leon took to it with gusto. He has been known to appoint any who he deems
capable of building, controlling and defending a city.
Lord Erwin Wroughtwind (human wizard): Being treated as a pria since he was
15 because most assumed that Erwin like his parents was a demon worshiper.
Unlike the other lords given control over a region, Erwin requested to be given
the post of the empty coast to prove his innocence. He has been known to add
any adventurer who caches his fancy to his retinue
Logain Renthas the lord phoenix: not much is known about the past of the lord
phoenix most stories say that he was peasant born but that his great magical
prowess manifested at a young age. Around 70 years ago, Logain proclaimed
himself the chosen of prophecy and began trying to overthrow king Rodrick the
then king. Throughout the next 5 years, he slowly gained the peoples favor
eventually he was able to gain the throne and has ruled ever since. Many stories

The Theay Confederacy

A land that was once two separate kingdoms, the kingdom of Ban and the Yuwan
Empire, each of which fell because of the first and second incursions respectively.
The current leaders of Theay come from The Citadel, a wizard school that was
built by the kingdom of Ban. It had fell to the 8 heads of the magic schools to take
the reins of the rebuilding. They cursed themselves and four others with undeath,
two of which were bureaucrats, a diplomat, and a general, all of which hailing
from Ban, in order to give the people of ban a set of immortal rulers.
The Theay Confederacy is comprised of a collection of autonomous regions from
the kingdoms the preceded it and Elven Spires behaving as free cities, ruled over
by the Lich council which has the say on all external affairs.

The regions of Theay

The Temple Plains: The area surrounding the Citadel, a region where all religions
are practiced, each town would in this area have multiple temples to different
gods. This region also holds the only city to have a temple to every god The City of
All Temples. For better or for worse, even mystery cults and churches would have
buildings dedicated to them in the City of All Temples. It is also one of the only
places in the world that still accepts serfdom and undead labor.
The Ban-Tor steppe: A mostly flat empty land, which the Ban people have been
able to hold onto after their kingdom’s collapse. It is home to Typhon’s Dagger
and the Typhon volcano, the most sacred place for the Ban-Tor.
Typhon’s dagger: A mountain range that is teaming many Dwarven colonies and
Goliath tribes.
The Yuwan holdings: The hilly and grassy lands that were the birth grounds of the
Yuwan Empire.
The Mirror Lake: The world’s largest lake and the only primarily gnome/Halfling
city in the world in recent times, this famously quiet area of Theay has been under
an almost permanent storm in recent times.
The windless lands: The area Surrounding the Mirror Lake and part of its slowly
growing territory. In recent times this region has been gaining more influence, but
its name seems no longer appropriate as it is ravaged by the same storms as the
Mirror Lake.

The people of Theay

The Humans of Theay:

The Yuwan-Ti: When it was at its height, the Yuwan Empire was a matriarchal
kingdom of dubious piety and morals that knew the most about summoning
magic. After the first incursion the Yuwan-Ti diverged from the rest of humanity,
being cursed with serpentine features such as scales, fangs, or forked tongues,
the least of which manifested in the common folks. For the nobility who were
closest to the royal line in blood their plight is much worse, for their bodies where
turned completely. Some had their heads and/or arms turned into snakes or had
their feet merge into a tail their descendants living on in hiding, trying to end the
cruse set upon them.
The Ban-Tor: Most people have an image of the Ban-Tor as traveling mercenaries,
and all mercenaries as Ban-Tor, that couldn’t be farther from the truth as the Ban-
Tor are an old culture most of which are ordinary people.
One would likely have seen Ban-Tor mercenaries, as they travel all across the
world. Usually led by an Exart who would notably be clad in master work full-body
armor, and accompanied by the regulars who tend to be medium and heavy
cavalry.
The people of the Temple Cities: They tend to be the most cosmopolitan people in
Pamor, as they live in a region where all fates are accepted.
The Elves of Theay:
The Sun elves: The most scholarly of the elves by nature, they tend to not leave
their spire or its sounding area that often. They have the greatest political
influence within the Confederacy, as they helped build the citadel that is now its
capital. Their government is split into groups of noble houses that are known as
circles because of their druidic origin, each circle has its own duties and goals.
As children of the god Corilon they tend to focus on their art with their all.
The Spring elves: The common notion surrounding the Spring elves is as healers
and that would be correct, as the study of healing is normal for most spring elves,
not only physical but also mental. They have two heads of state that rotate
between being given to a random member of a noble house for 12 years.
As the children of the goddess Seline they tend to suffer from a great wander lust,
tending to be Polytheistic rather than devout to only their creating goddess.
The Wood elves of the Great Tree Eve: They are known primarily for founding
their own strange school of magic, the school of cultivation, which focuses on
cultivating and enhancing a living being’s abilities or growth in said abilities, they
also have the largest library as they are tasked with being the keepers of all elven
knowledge.
As children of the god Corilon they tend to focus on their art with their all.
The Goliaths of Theay: Goliaths are members of other races that through the use
of primordial magic have enhanced their physical abilities they tend to live in
tribes on the mountain range Typhon’s Dagger, but a tribe can appear anywhere
where a magic user who can perform the ritual lives. Most tribes tend to value
strength and fairness.
The Dwarves of Theay: The dwarves that live outside Korameer tend to live
similar lives to those within it but face additional challenges that stem from their
inability to reproduce. They usually come and go in migrant waves. They can have
their own unique traditions that differ from the mountain home they came from,
and they occasionally set up colonies outside of mountains.
Locations of interest in Theay

The City of All Temples: The city surrounding the Citadel of Theay is a large and
beautiful city that is governed by the circle of 12. It contains a temple to each god,
demon price, and lord of the nine hells as well as every saint in the world. All
temples are treated equally within the city.
The Red School of Wizardry: Part of the Theay citadel and the world’s most
prestigious magical school and research center, it is responsible of appointing
people into the rank of red wizard alongside researching the secrets of magic
The Typhon Volcano: This volcano was converted into a forge of magical items so
long ago that the purpose behind its conversion is lost to history, but now it
serves as the only reason that the people of the Ban-Tor are still around.
As it currently stands, it sees a lot of use as Sovereign Prime has been using it as
their personal workshop to continually produce Exart armor.
Yuwan: One of the most ancient cities in the world, it has weathered many
attacks by other mortals, demons, or even the occasional rampaging summoned
monster. Most of the Buildings in the city have longer histories than most noble
families.
The keep of Ban: A castle built before the fall of the kingdom with the help of its
dwarven allies, as such it is as much of a piece of art as it is an impregnable
fortress.
The City of Auriga: The most technologically advanced city in the world, Auriga is
the birthplace of such magi-tech marvels as the Run-Lance tools that allow the
non-magically trained to use magic, master work prosthetics, and weapons that
can adapt to both your mind and body. The city was founded by dwarven
colonists and now is one of the most influential places in the world.
The Sun Spire: The home of the Sun Elves seems to glow with incredible light at
night. The Spire used to contain the sum total of all elven knowledge before it’s
massive libraries where moved to the great tree eve after the Sun Elves were
given the duties of the Winter Elves after mysterious demise.
The Spring Spire: This spire is ephemeral, its place changing day to day unlike its
seemingly stationary brethren. The Spire contains the world’s most advanced
medical and psychiatric wards.
The Illian: The home of music and art a place where the world’s best musicians
are recognized, where the best play writers and actors flock and where the
greatest paintings and sculptures are displayed.
Athena, City of Guilds: Once a unremarkable archipelago in the middle of the
Mirror Lake ruled by its nine major guilds and populated by mostly
gnomes/Halflings. In Recent times, Athena has undergone a change in leadership,
no longer are the 9 guild masters the supreme authority there anymore, as it now
falls under the high master, a Gnome of unknown origin that has somehow gained
control of the city.

Notable factions in Theay

The Red Wizards: They are the nobles of Theay trained from birth in the arts of
magic and given positions based on their skills and specializations.
The Circle of Eight: They were the head masters of the Citadel of Theay before
the second incursion and they dreamt up the idea of giving the post incursion
kingdom of Ban 12 immortal rulers, each one of the circle is a master of one of
the 8 schools of magic.
The Exarts: Sovereign Prime’s elite worriers, given arms and armor made by the
Sovereign.
The Orthala: A group of traveling historians that are based in Theay. Their base is
the monastery of Candle Keep.
The Council of Temples: A council appointed between all the temples in the world
so that they may meet and discuss their problems peacefully.
The Grey Court: a group of 5 Yuwan-Ti peasants that are chosen at birth and
raised alongside the Sapphire Regent who rule the Yuwan holdings.
Influential individuals in Theay

The twelve liches of the Circle:

Aganazzar the point of abjuration.
Tasha the point of enchantment.
Tenser the point of divination.
Maximilian the point of transmutation.
Melf the point of evocation.
Nystul the point of illusion.
Mordenkainen the point of conjuration.
Snilloc the point of necromancy.
Prince Leomund.
Commander Otiluke.
Minister Bigby.
Minister Drawmij.
The Red Steward: The Red Steward is the public speaker for the Circle of 12. The
current steward, Jogan Abbara, is the most beloved by far. He holds sway over
most of most influential people in Theay as they view him as not much of a
politician.
Sovreign Prime: The mysterious leader of the Ban-Tor and the creator of all the
gear the Exarts use.
The Sapphire Regent: The regent is, similarly to the Grey Council, a random
peasant raised in the ways of rulership. They are the final decider on any matter.
The current one was raised to office at the age of 20 and has strangely held her
own in her career, far better than most of her predecessors.
The High Master: The mysterious new ruler of the City of Guilds.
All that is known about him is that he has powers over storms.
Moses Stonesworn: The head of all the dwarven colonies in Theay, he is more of
a military commander than the bureaucrat he is meant to be.
Mayor Richard Dawkins: The is the half-orc leader of Auriga. His father had
helped the original dwarven settlers and was in return given the position of
mayor. His son got to the office by the peoples trust of his father.
Ruben Ironforged: The dwarf that began the magi-tech revolution that made
Auriga so famous in the first place, most people say that his obsession with
topping his old innovations has driven him to seclusion.
Lady luck: A red wizard that is known for her great skill with illusion magic. She is
the only red wizard the even entertains the idea of a thieves’ guild existing

The great union

The great union is a relatively quit part of the world that is composed of two
sapreat kingdoms and an oligarchy is the only country in the world to colonize or
buy land outside the continent of pamor. it is the center of trade and has the
most advanced sailing tech allowing them to own more ports in other people’s
land though pure competence. Ties between the king’s domain and the plant
people of the tamed forest only exist because of their shared alliance with the
tritons that offer both lands finical stability in exchange for their help in both
military and exploratory maters

The regions of the great union

The tamed forest: a forest inhabited by mostly vegaoygomies the forest is
spousivley made up of the branches of one giant tree that the rooted council
controls
The crystal coast: it’s all of the coast that is surrounding the whole of the great
union it’s filled with underwater cities at its lowest point you have the city of a
thousand lights the true capital of the tritons.
The gelded kingdom: it is the city and area most think is the capital of the tritons
because most of its ornamentation seems to be made out of gold.
The gifted quarter: a part of the great union that was given to all the refugees
that came to the great union. Much of the original land has been altered by its
new occupants.
The king’s domain: a part of the land that is ruled over by a man only known as
the king. He concurred it mostly by himself over 50 years. This land is mostly part
of the great union by geography and not much else.
The colonies: the great union is the only civilization to colonies other lands most
people tend to view the lands of the other continents and counters as somehow
tainted or less valuable but for some reason the people of alta were willing to sell
parts of their shores.

The people of the great union

The tritons: fish like humanoids that if legends are to be believed where made
from the sea itself. They are a traveling people that have learned the ways to
travel the seas they are the only kingdom to colonies other lands accepting any
who want to leave their kingdom and join them
Vegaoygmy: some say that the vegaoygmy are manifestations of nature the
voices of all plants, other more arcainly knowable think that they are artificially
made, some think that their natural affinity to divination magic might me that
they were made by some divine figure.
