Passive Voice Formulas in Simple Present Tense

 Simple Present Tense (Simple present time)

Simple Present Tense is the tense (sentence pattern) used to tell the present time in a simple
form.

The simple present tense function in a sentence can be used to, among others: Declare an
event, action or incident that is usually done and has become a reality, or an action that has
become a habit. Example Sentence: I go to work everyday

Simple present tense is the tense used when an event is taking place at this time or an event
that occurs repeatedly (habit). The form of the verb used in the simple present tense sentence
pattern is the basic form of the verb, namely Verb 1 or Verb 1 + s / es.

 Verbal Formulas
(+) S + V1 s/es + O
(+) My father goes to post office.
(-) S + do/does not + V1 + O…
(-) My father does not go to post office
(?) Do/Does + S + V…?
(?) Does your father go to post office?
 Nominal Formulas
(+) S + be(am, is, are) + Adj / Noun / Adverb (shortened
ANA)
(+) Marcella is a stronger woman.
(-) S + be + not + ANA
(-) Marcella is not a stronger woman
(?) Be + S + ANA ?
(?) Is she a stronger woman?
-Usually using a daily activity: Always, usually, often, seldom.

Engglis has two voice: active and passive

 The avtive voice is used the subjeet of the sentence does the action,in the example, A
the subject and B is the object.
My mom sings that song

 The passive voice is used when we focus on the object of the sentence. In the
example, B becomes the subject.
That song is sung by my mom

Formulas passive voice:

a) Positive (+) Active: S + V1 + O


Passive: O + tobe + V3 + By + O
b) Negative (-) Passive: S + tobe(is,am,are) + V3 + by + O
Active: S + do/does + not + V1 + O
c) Interrogative (?): Active: do/does + S + Verb1 + O ?
Passive: tobe + S + verb3 + by + O ?

Example:

(+) Avtive: L love you

(+) Passive: You are loved by me

(-)Active: l don`t sweep the floor today?

(-) Passive: The floor is not swept by me today?

(?) Active: Do you take my pen?

(?) Passive: Is my pen take by you?
