Points to ponder
1. First sacred object illustrates a priest who are one of the custodians of the church. They are
consecrated by God for the sacred actions and sanctification, having the authority almost all of
the activities done within the name of the holy church. Second, illustrates the crucifixion of the
Lord, Jesus Christ, this was the time Jesus defended us from our sins, he sacrificed himself for
the sake of and love for his people. Third, shows a hand indicates prayer, it is when we
communicate to the line of God, unlike how people communicate from a far distance, we do not
use any communication device to speak ourselves to the kingdom of heaven, the only thing that
we use is our mind and heart in a sincerely manner. We speak and god hear, we pray for
forgiveness, thanksgiving, and blessings coming from above. Fourth illustration is a holy chalice,
during the last supper it was the goblet god used to serve the wine to the apostles, it symbolizes
human acceptance as it was like drinking blood of the Lord, we welded as part of him and
another story says it was used to catch the Jesus’ drops of blood at the time of crucifixion.
According to the Disciples of Christ, the chalice itself symbolizes the central place of communion
and worship, while the cross reminds members of the disciple Andrew and the importance of
evangelism. Lastly is a holy bible, is a group of religious texts of Judaism or Christianity. It is a
book of Christian knowledge where we can learn anything related to us and god explained
       religiously.
    2. These object is essentially part of my life, they all help me build up my faith and relationship to
god through many different ways. Our priest plays a vital role during mass because they lend us
interpretation of the words of God. They also have the credibility to do certification which is
baptism as one of these. The crucifixion of God develop deeper emotions about the realization
of life, that god is always ready to give everything for us, that no matter how drastic our sin is,
we must learn to give forgiveness and help others to stand from all the mistakes we’ve done.
Prayer is always important to do as well, I always pray to whatever situation I’m in, because it
has that power of relief, I feel much secured and closer to god whenever I speak to him and that
feeling is irreplaceable. The holy chalice also bring me closer to god by himself, I feel so welcome
in his phase because he allowed us, his people, to receive part of him and I’m forever thankful
for giving us such a huge acceptance. The holy bible gives us the reference of the words of god
and if we give value and time to read it, we are guided to the path that we’re going to take.
Thereby everything coming from god builds me and help me become the person who I am.
    3. As a normal individual, even with or without a title holder, we can still contribute ourselves for
church’s services. First of all is that we must initially accept god so that we do it whole-
heartedly. Being a role model to other is always good for everyone and so I must be actively
engage in coming to church every mass as long as I can and feel the presence of the lord. It’s not
right to just physically involve in the church, we must apply all the aspect of us, physically,
emotionally, mentally and most importantly, spiritually. Being active cannot be only limited
inside the church, even wherever place we are we can still be functioning as servant of the lord
       by doing the righteous thing.

Answer Questions
1. Liturgical assembly is a gathering commemorating the holy Mass. It’s commonly done during Sunday,
also the day Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected. We gather to church because we are baptized Christians,
worshipping the Father together as a community. We serve to him like how he serves us and apply it to
assist other people. The church is the house of god where we are keep away from any trouble and there
it is him who we are celebrating with and about.
2. The central focus of the liturgy of the early church was the Eucharist, which was interpreted as a
fellowship meal with the resurrected Christ. The Holy Eucharist is a sacrament and a sacrifice, under the
appearances of bread and wine, the Lord Christ is contained, offered, and received.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven,
(1)hallowed be thy Name,
thy (2)kingdom come,
(3)thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
(4)Give us this day our daily bread.
And (5) forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And (6) lead us not into temptation,
but (7) deliver us from evil. Amen.
MY Father
1. He loves his family unconditionally.
2. Despite our misconceptions, he instead understand and offer us his advice.
3. He provides our family needs out from his small-scale income.
4. He don’t have favorites among his children, what he gives to one, also what others will have.
5. He always teach us what is right from wrong.
Points to Ponder
     1. I do consider my father as an ideal Father. Ever since I was born he didn’t leave my side and
keep filling up his duties to us as the father of the family. Considering the fact that I’m still here
in our house with them, they didn’t abandon me somewhere else. We are a family of six and
with his just enough salary, he raised us with all the effort he could just to sustain the family’s
necessity. He may be have some negative point of view but it doesn’t shade how good he is for
us. There was a time when I was sick, my mother and I went to a hospital but they said the
doctor was off her schedule and we both didn’t have idea who to consult, when we came back
home, my father was so worried to the point that he forcefully ask the doctor for my check-up,
and so it was thankfully a successful transaction he made just for my sake. Even your father
can’t give us the thing that we long for, it will never ever make them the worst father in the
world, that’s why we should send back the love that they’ve given to us.
     2. Yes. In a way how he is willing to sacrifice everything he has even though we’re having so many
imperfections as his children. We unintentionally disrespect him a few times and that makes me
the worst daughter but he never once show disappointment regarding our failures. Like God the
Father, he is able to furnish hope in and even outside our home.
     3. Yes. I don’t why but it’s different when praying during mass, I think it’s because the conversation
is all about him thus, freshness of the holiness is in constant at this time. It feels like we’re even
closer, that we aren’t miles and miles away from each other.

Answer Questions
1. He is the source because the blessing comes first from him by both word and a gift, every principles in
this world was after him. From the very beginning God blessed all living beings, especially man and
woman. On the other hand, the goal is set among us, his disciples, and that goal is to offer god what he
offer to us which after leads to a cycle lies between a man and God the Father.
2. We offer to god everything from ourselves. Give our full time and attention to him, we must not think
of anything else as possible as it can be to avoid confusion while focusing during Mass. Let’s join the
spirit within him and feel his presence by our side.
3. We need to thank God the Father for the love and care he provided us. He let us live to his begotten
son, Jesus Christ and it says that in everything give thanks. He never commands joy without giving
abundant cause for it. He does not expect thanks where there is nothing to thank for. He would have us
remember that, in the most trying circumstances and the deepest sorrow, there is cause for
thanksgiving infinitely out-weighing the reason for mourning. Whatever we lose, God and His love are
still left us. As the giver of life, let’s us make time with and praise him for he is none other than God the
Father.
