Does international business lead to cultural imperialism?
Imperialism: is a system in which a country rules other countries sometimes having
used force to obtain power over them.
Reasons:
International business influences globalization and globalization influences
       culture.
U.S.A imposes its technical, political, military and economic supremacy on
developing countries. People are stuck such as: CNN, MTV and DISNEY
       CHANNEL.
Another point, as nations involves themselves in international business for
development, the exchanges are not only limited to products or services, but
there are exchanges of culture too.
Business organizations are focusing more than before on understanding culture
       of their consumer nations.
A company generally needs to make modifications when entering into a culture
which is not parallel with its own.
SO globalization works in both ways: it tends to disperse a culture in two
directions and when the consequences is about food is too much.
CONCLUSION: MODERN CULTURAL IMPERIALISM IS SUPPORTED
BY THE REVOLUTIONARY TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES, WORKING
FROM A CONTROL BASED STRATEGY. FIRST, THE CONTROL OF
TECHNOLOGICAL HARDWARE AND KNOW – HOW (PATENTS LAWS,
ECONOMIC BARRIERS) AND ALSO THE CONTROL OF
COMMUNICATIONS OF SOFTWARE AND CONTENTS IN THE FORM
OF MASS MEDIA (COMPUTERS PROGRAMS, MOVIES, TELEVISON
       AND MUSIC).
