ABSTRACT

Strategically located in Durban and with satellite campuses in Richards Bay, Cape Town
and Port Elizabeth, the Maritime School of Excellence (MSoE) is carving out a position as
the premier provider for marine and terminal training programmes.

The Maritime School of Excellence is an accredited training institution with the South
African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA); Transport Education and Training Authority
and the leading provider of high-end training in the Port and Maritime sector.

The Maritime School of Excellence (MSoE) is accredited to conduct competency


assessments and to issue Certificates of Competence to delegates. The MSoE assesses
and evaluates course delegates according to the National Qualification Framework (NQF)
and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) unit standards. The facilitators at
the MSoE are all accredited to perform formative and summative assessments and
moderation of those assessments.

At the MSoE you can receive training from experienced and qualified facilitators that
provide some of the best training available on the African continent in Marine, Commercial,
Terminal Operations, Port Management and Port Engineering (Infrastructure).
