Scope and Delimitations

This research will examine the relationship between financial literacy and spending behavior of 175 Grade 12 students from the ABM program at San Jose Litex Senior High School. It is supported by previous research that found higher financial literacy is directly related to more desirable spending habits. The study will use random sampling and measure financial literacy competencies like savings, debt management, and budgeting as independent variables against dependent variables of spending on basic needs, leisure activities, and miscellaneous expenses.
