Bienvenidos a mi clase de Español!

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

I am Ms. Guardado, and I am very honored to be your Spanish teacher this coming
school year. I am so excited to meet all my students and embark on a new journey to
learning another language. Together we can ensure that your student is able to speak
and write in Spanish to communicate his or her needs, likes, dislikes, and experiences.
Your student will also learn about the culture and traditions of the Spanish speaking
community making them even more aware of the world around them.

I am a strong believer in parent involvement in my classroom. I find that having my

student’s parents active and aware of what goes on in my classroom is very important for
student success. In fact, I encourage parents to join Duolingo and learn Spanish
alongside their student. I try to maintain constant communication with my student’s
parents and ensure that my students not only pass my class but also gain a skill that can
open many opportunities for them. I am here to ensure your students success not only in
school but also in their future endeavors.

I encourage parents to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns regarding

their students. I also encourage parents to join my Remind to stay in the loop with
everything that your student is learning in my class. Remind also allows you to contact me
directly to my phone and I you. This will make communication way faster and much more
efficient. I will also share my email and website location where you can find all the
resources I will be using in the class.

I am also attaching a document for you and your student to fill out, so that I can get to
know your student more and obtain important information such as your contact number
and technology accessibility.

I cannot wait to start this new year and get know just how amazing my students are!

Respectfully serving you,

Ms. Jasmine Guardado
Spanish Teacher
