Recycling is the process of converting waste
materials into new materials and objects.
This process involves collecting and
processing materials that would otherwise
be thrown away as trash and turning them
into new products.
As we know, there are so many things that can be recycled.
What are the things that we can recycle?
Recyclable materials include many kinds of glass, paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, tires,
textiles, batteries, and electronics.
For example at schools, we can recycle the common things that we are used such as papers
and cardboard, plastic and glass bottles, aluminium cans and other drink containers. An
example of recycle is when you return bottles, which are then processed into
new glass products.
Why is recycling is good?
Recycling help us to protect the environment.
Recycling reduces the need for cutting down trees
and finding a raw materials which can causes air
pollution and water pollution.
As recycling saves energy, it also reduces
greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle
climate change.
