          The first step in becoming media and information literate is to understand how information, ideas and
meaning are communicated through and by various media and other information providers, such as libraries,
archives, museums, and the Internet. 
          For this activity, you will be presented with 3 Types of Media; the Postcard, the Billboard, and an ordinary
cartoon image from the Internet. What you need to do is to determine the ff:

1. Target Audience
2. Media Language Used
3. Purpose
1.) POSTCARD
TARGET AUDIENCE: Travelers
MEDIA LANGUAGE USED: Visual Language
PURPOSE: It is to show an illustration of the beauty of the place
2.) BILLBOARD
TARGET AUDIENCE Consumers/Buyers
MEDIA LANGUAGE USED: Written Language
PURPOSE: It is for them to garner costumers to buy their product.
3.) IMAGE FROM THE INTERNET
TARGET AUDIENCE: Anyone who’s browsing the internet
MEDIA LANGUAGE USED: Non- verbal Language
PURPOSE: For the audience to understand what they receive through the way the figure uses its body.

1. Tungkol saan ang karanasang ibinahagi ng may-akda? Tungkol ito sa kaniyang karanasan,noong siya ay nasa
kolehiyo pa.
2. Sa iyong pananaw, mahalaga ba para sa may-akda ang pagkuha ng litrato? Ipaliwanag. Oo, dahil ‘yon ang
nagsilbing ala-ala niya sa sinapit at kaniyang ginawa sa panahong kolehiyo pa siya.
3. Ano ang personalidad ng may-akda na nasasalamin sa kaniyang sanaysay? Matapang, dahil makikita sa kaniyang
pagsasaliksik ang kaniyang katapang para ipaglaban ang kanilang karapatan sa panahon ng Martial Law.
