Imagine a world without color.
Yawn. Now, that would be boring.
Thankfully we don’t live in such a world. Because while Truth may be black and white,
what God created through the wondrous work of His hands is anything but.
And there’s a reason for that.
Because when God created the heavens
and the earth, He actually had YOU in mind.
It’s true. When you and I were barely a glimmer in His
eye—and the earth was still without form and void—the
Creator (with earth’s blueprints in hand), was so enamored
of His soon-to-be “treasures in earthen vessel” that He
began to dream. And when He did, He saw us …
....standing in stunned silence at a fiery-orange moon that rises;
…experiencing renewed hope at the first signs of verdant
new life after a dismally grey, long and frigid winter;
…being pleasurably annoyed at the mindless
squawking of wild parrots;
…smiling with delight at the graceful white swan as it glides
noiselessly upon a glass-like surface;
…feeling strangely comforted by the brilliant flashes of jagged
white lightning that punctuate a thundering sky;
…hungering to know our Creator so that one day, being conformed to His image, we’d be able to love
generously, worship passionately and live fully … in order that He would be glorified in all the earth.
