Actividad: Desarrollo de Matriz de solución
The first method we used was called The Random Words Technique; this method consists
of putting random words that may or may not be related to the problem in question on a
blackboard. Later, the team members select several words that together can help generate
solutions or simply serve as support so that the creativity of the team can flow in a good way.
A blackboard of the Zoom application was incorporated so that the team members could
begin to put the words that occurred to them at that time. Afterwards, an analysis session
was carried out on the words so that the members could relate them to each other and thus
be able to generate new solutions to the problem posed.
Results are incorporated below.

Biochemistry and Nanotech can help us manage the solid wastes problem with research
about its processes and how these wastes react in certain situations.

Create a garbage incineration system, to replace landfills, and through the use of technology
and biochemistry, convert the waste into compost for use in agricultural systems.
Giacomo
Design new products sustainably by taking into account its disposal post-use and improve
their recycling capability, so that their materials can return to the cycle.

The technology and its constant advancement, we could develop microorganisms that
require eating plastic particles. In fact, there are micro-organisms in the sea that eat plastic
but in very small quantities. With technology we could develop similar microorganisms that
eat plastic in large quantities
The SCAMPER Method whose name is made up of the words: Substitute, Combine, Adapt,
Modify, Put to other uses, Eliminate y Rearrange. It is based on the power of the question as
an element to promote divergent thinking and creative capacity. It proposes seven types of
questions to ask when faced with a problem to find possible solutions in a creative way.
For this method, the team had to ask itself the questions related to the method in question
and integrate them with the problem that is being attacked. It was discussed in the Zoom
session about each of the letters that the SCAMPER method has and the following solutions
were formulated:
SCAMPER Method.
S (Substitute): Substitute plastics of one use with other materials such as glass, textile
fabrics for packaging reuse (circular economy).
C (Combine): Combine individual or household techniques to reduce our consumption and
separate our trash into recyclable materials, thus decrease our impact in the environment
and landfill occupation.
A (Adapt): Adapt the new technologies so that it can help the solid waste problem with alerts
when you don’t classify the trash in a good way, rewards in online shops if you recycle or
classify your wastes, etc.
M (Magnify / Modify): Modify the actual laws that protect the ecosystem or punish the
people if they pollute the environment, making them more strict and inflexible when applying
them.
P (Put to another use): Reuse packaging as a pot to plant trees, for every tree you plant in
a package you will receive for something in exchange for it.
E (Eliminate): Eliminate the bad habits that we have at this time and the ones that come
when we separate the wastes. As well as the ignorance of the consequences of solid
wastes.
R (Reverse / Rearrange): Reverse our scheme of manufacturing new products by
integrating their recycling process in their production, to reuse the consumption of new
materials when possible, thus establishing a circular economy.
