OneAir – Who we are

OneAir Srl is a relative young company composed by a

team of long experienced people in the field of
ventilation and air condition and specifically skilled on
the realisation of the perforated air ducts.
The composed experiences inside OneAir Srl has
allowed to develop immediately products based on
high level technology with use of laser perforation and
laser cut according the different materials at the base
of the realization of its own products
The deep knowledge in the textile realization has also
brought the company to develop a specific
technological branch inside the Company for the
develop and realization of products for the transport
sectors.

OneAir – DHI Textile Air Ducts

The DHI TEXTILE AIR DUCTS are realized on

Different types of fabric
Standard
Euroclass B,S1-d0
Euroclass A1
Several colours (8 different standard colours)
Several shapes (circular, semi-circular, quarter
circle)
Large range of diameters (from 200 to 1.600 mm)
Different types of installations options
Cable (single or double)
Rails (single, double, suspended, at ceiling)

OneAir – DHI Metal Air Ducts

The DHI METAL AIR DUCT are realized on

galvanized steel (8/10 or 10/10) on different

Finishing (galvanized, pre-painted , painted)

Shape (circular, demi-circular, quarter circle)
Type of installation

There are then available specific lines of product on

Stainless steel
Copper

OneAir – DHI Metal Air Ducts

The DHI Metal Ducts are produced in two

different configurations

Open circumference
Closed circumference

The first configuration (open circumference) has

been designed for reducing the cost of transport
of the ducts, and a simple system for closing the
ducts allows to have an economic advantage
without any efficiency lost.

OneAir – HIGH INDUCTION

The principle used for the realization of the DHI

Perforated Air Ducts it‘s based on the High
Induction phenomenon

Using a calibrated air speed, the air which exits

from the perforation produces low-pressure
areas, and these activate the mixing between
the incoming air (primary air) and the existing
air (room air), producing as result the
movement of an air quantity bigger than 40
times than the primary air.

TRADITIONAL SYSTEMS
DIFFUSION WITH CEILING DIFFUSERS
With the most used diffusers, installed on
ceiling, the air distribution and the level of
comfort is influenced by the number of the
installed diffusers and by the positioning of the
exhaust lines.
In this situation the level of comfort (defined
with the rule UNI 10339) is exposed to
problems for the homogeneity of the
temperatures and the presence of air currents
and furthermore the energy consumption is
influenced by a presence of air stratification
phenomenon (especially during the winter
season – heating functioning) and the time
needed to reach a good working point of the air
conditioning system

OneAir – DIFFUSION WITH CEILING DIFFUSERS

Also if the ceiling diffusers are the “nearest” diffusers for reaching the
optimal air diffusion in the rooms, these maintain some specific problems
during the both functioning settings (heating and cooling)

During the Cooling (summer season) the possibility to activate the high induction
effect is strictly connected to the Coanda effect (also named “ceiling effect”)
which allows to the primary air to stay to the ceiling level avoiding to enter quickly
in the occupation zone.
In presence of wall or parts of the room exposed at the sun (e.g. for the presence
of windows) this will influence the behavior of the primary air, which goes
upwards.
In this situation the primary air doesn‘t reach the wall sunny exposed and this
bring to concentrate the air jet on the wall opposed and it is important that the air
that reach this side of the room doesn‘t enter quickly in the occupancy zone (very
difficult to regulate because the change of the temperature depends on the sun
irradiation)

OneAir – DIFFUSION WITH CEILING DIFFUSERS

During the Heating (winter season) we will have the same conditions but
with a situation of air stratification, that means different vertical
temperatures inside the room. .

This brings to have air currents inside the occupancy zone and a situation
of discomfort for the people present inside the room.

OneAir – DIFFUSION PERFORATED DIFFUSERS
The perforated air ducts allow to maximize the high induction effect. This depends on the possibility to use
the entire surface of the duct for diffusing the air inside the room. Through the high induction the whole air
quantity present inside the room (primary air and existing air) has moved and this movement mixes these
two components of the room air permitting to reach the temperature homogeneity and an high level of
comfort through the control of the air speed in the occupancy area.

The primary air in the perforated air diffuser is composed by several micro air jets and this allow to reach the
comfort level because the air is not concentrate in few specific points but it's diffused on the entire room

OneAir – LIDL APPLICATION
Starting from the standard configuration defined by
LIDL, see the two pictures beside, we have shown
how the use of the perforated air ducts can improve
the level of comfort compared with the ceiling
diffusers.

According this it has been selected a configuration

as that indicated in the second pictures

The system for air diffusion inside the shops has

been configurated dividing the primary air on 6 lines
of diffusers, with diameter 550 mm and length in
the range of 18-20 mt, positioned with a paralel
orientation to the angle of inclination of the roof of
the shop. The perforated diffusers have been
positioned inside the shop considering the products
layout. Indeed for the open fridge expositors the
presence of air diffuser above those has been
avoided.

OneAir – LIDL APPLICATION
According the technical data of
the AHU used and the space
configuration, ONEAIR through
its CFD Software (Computational
Fluid Dynamics) and its
experience has developed the
configuration of the perforation
to apply on the metal air
diffusers. Here some detail of the
technical specifications released
by the CFD.
