Ease-of-maintenance is an important consideration in the design of every Ariel compressor with easy access to all areas requiring
maintenance. Standard bolting and standard tools are used whenever possible. However, special tools are required for certain maintenance
tasks. These special tools are an important part of the Ariel design and are available for every service technician working on Ariel
compressors. Contact an Genuine Ariel Parts distributor for ordering and full tools support.

Balance Nut Torquing Tool


A hydraulic balance nut torque tool required for
disassembly & re-assembly of KBZ, KBU, JGZ, JGU,
KBB, KBV, JGB and JGV frames. It can also be used
Balance Nut on JGH, JGE, JGK, JGT, KBK, KBT, JGC and JGD
Torquing Tool frames, but is considered optional. Each frame
class requires a unique torquing tool which are
not interchangeable. Please choose the correct
tool per frame class as seen below. This tool must
be used in conjunction with a hydraulic pressure
source.
