Designation - AVP Supply Chain

Location - Gurgaon .

Main Purpose –
➢ Demand and supply planning for India region
➢ Coordination with procurement team for RM/PM planning basis rolling FC
➢ Ensure dispatches of orders across India Region
➢ Support design of strategies/plans and ensure their implementation for effective logistics and
improve efficiency on stock management
➢ ensure productivity from warehousing and freight & improved Customer service reducing the
OOS at depot
➢ Responsible for Primary / Secondary freight initiatives
➢ Expected to set processes and review mechanisms with plants dispatch team
➢ Continuously look at ways of controlling / managing costs (damage/expiry)

Accountabilities –Support in deriving supply chain efficiency by setting up process around


Forecasting,
Supply planning and FG inventory control
Secondary Dispatch efficiency – order delivery turn around within 24 hrs
Primary / secondary freight management and
Direct dispatch from plant above 90%
Warehouse management ( space and managing season with additional WH space)
➢ Forecast accuracy
➢ Maintain freshness index above 85% with strict control on inventory management
➢ Collaboration with procurement on RM/PM inventory basis FC
➢ Collaborate with operations team on supply / production planning across plants
➢ Coordination with plant dispatch team and ensuring order delivery within 24 hrs
➢ Manage the entire Primary / secondary freight for All India and identify saving opportunities.
Monitor and action plant / CFA wise.
➢ Set process in place in sync with SAP, freight & warehousing initiatives & Shadow
warehousing opportunities and recommend solutions/suggestions
➢ Create and maintain differentiated Supply chain capability for TT
➢ Liaise with the SM/ASM on likely sku / dispatch concerns for the month billing,
➢ Warehousing productivity projects at CFA for improved space utilisation
➢ Work on weekly forecast accuracy to impact skew and service levels
➢ Manage demand planning process for All India.
➢ Anchor monthly S&OP / demand planning reviews. Provide support for CEO to
understand the building blocks
➢ Monitor Ageing and Stales and resolve issues with NSM
➢ Liaise with plant regarding stock movement for the region

Job Dimensions –
➢ All India
➢ 12 plant / CFAs , 15 SKU’s ,
➢ Freight bill approx 20 Cr
➢ Detention control and space management

➢ Understanding of logistics and warehousing operations
➢ Understanding of planning with an overview of S& D systems
➢ Negotiation skills
➢ Interpersonal relations
Main interactions within & outside organization / External & Internal Environmental Factors

➢ Internally – Operation / supply chain / procurement managers, Despatch Execs at Plants,
Commercial Managers, RM, SM, ASM,
➢ Externally – Third party logistics providers, Customers, Consumer Promo Agencies
