Direction of Ethernet Connection

Parameter of Ethernet
Wire & Wireless Parameter
Spec43: Connect mode. 0=Disable; 1=Server Mode; 2=Client Mode (Using in WAN normally).
Spec44: Re-connect interval. Please keep default.
Spec45: Re-configuration if parameter changes. Please keep default.
Spec150~153: Device IP. If Spec153=0, the device will use DHCP to obtain an IP automatically.
Spec154~157: PC IP. This IP only used in Client Mode(Spec43=2).
Spec158~161: Default gateway.
Spec162~165: Subnet mask.
Spec170~173: Primary DNS.
GlobalText19: Server’s Domain Name: Only used in client mode, and Spec154~157 all are “0”
Wireless Only Parameter (Only for device whose integration Wi-Fi)
Spec50: 0=Using Wire-Ethernet; 1=Using Wireless-Ethernet. (Reboot after you change this parameter)
Spec51: Security Mode: 0=No Security; 1=WEP; 2=WPA/WPA2
Spec53: Domain Type: 0: FCC; 1: IC; 2: ETSI; 3: Spain; 4: France; 5: JapanA; 6: JapanB (Please keep
default if you do not know it)
GlobalText15: Wi-Fi SSID.
GlobalText16: Wi-Fi Security Password.
Operation steps of Connecting to Wi-Fi
1. Get a wireless router or AP, set its “Security Mode”, “SSID” and “Security Password”.
2a. Edit Spec50=1, Spec51=“Security Mode”, GlobalText15=“SSID”, GlobalText16=“Security Password”
in software, and download them by USB-Disk.
2b. Or, Edit Spec50=1, Spec51=“Security Mode”, GlobalText15=“SSID”, GlobalText16=“Security
Password” by device keypad operation. (May a little difficult)
3. Reboot device after Step.2
4. Connecting your PC to Wi-Fi router or AP, open TM-xA software’s Etherent Menu.
If you faild to search device in TM-xA software, press keys in order: Prog, 4, 2, Confirm, Confirm. Device
will display Wi-Fi link status.
Link Success: Wi-Fi connected.
AP Not Found: Device do not found the AP whose SSID=GlobalText15. Check whether GlobalText15 is
correctly.
Link in prog: Try to connect or try to get rssi now.
Failed Join/ Failed Authent/ Failed Associa/ FailedSecurit: Securit not right, check whether GlobalText16
and Spec51 is right.

So new device can connecting into LAN
without any settings.
