The Beauty of Believing in Yourself (Self-Efficacy)
In every situation that I have been exposed throughout my life, I know that I have
progressed and is still on the process of discovering myself. Among so many theories
that I have read, Self-Efficacy, is the one that explains best my personality. Why?
Because without belief in ourself and encouragement, nothing will be accomplished. I
noticed that as an individual we have the ability to see ourselves from the outside, and
how our life revolves around the generalized thoughts of others from us. We perceive
how others think of us, but what I learned best is to truly believe in myself, in my
capabilities that I would be able to complete such task or problems thrown at me, with
time management, I knew I was capable of accomplishing anything I set my mind to.
I have experienced so many traumas when I was still a child and that affects me
in growing up. Growing up, I never share my problems to anyone even to my family
members, I am closed off and acts tough on the outside, but everything changes when I
thought that I will not progress and become the better version of myself if I don’t believe
in myself, that I can overcome everything, that I will not move on and heal If I still dwell
myself on the past that hinders me from becoming better.
In believing myself, I believed that it would help improved the quality of life
internally and externally as I would be more productive than I was before, grateful and
skillful which would also advocate self-love and self-confidence. Believing in thyself and
putting effort into it is what counts and how you apply it in life.
