When you consider taking a vacation and you are at a place where you don’t know anything
(you don’t know where to go, where to stay, what to do, prices), it is useful to call a travel agency.
It will guide you in planning your trip. Besides that, if there is a service that you need and the
agency doesn’t provide it, they know where you can go to get it. Call a travel agency when you
are looking for travel information, and they might even have a great deal for you.

MAKING HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Before I go on vacation, I always make hotel
reservations in advance so I have a place to stay.
I usually look online for cheap hotels or other
accommodations. Sometimes, I book a nice hotel
that has a number of amenities like a swimming
pool, exercise room, or kitchenette. These rooms
often come furnished with a microwave oven and
a small refrigerator. If I eat at a restaurant at
the hotel, I just have the meal billed to the room
and pay for the room charge and meals at the
same time. Other times, I look for cheap hotels
or motels that provide the basic necessities. If I
really want to save money, I reserve a bed at a
youth hostel. The price is cheaper, but I have to
share a room with other people.

ALASKAN VACATION

People generally go to Alaska to see four things:

wilderness, wildlife, glaciers and mountains. A
seven night Alaskan cruise tour gives you a taste
of Alaska. You get to see glaciers, marine wildlife,
and much more. Alaska land tours in the interior
region also give you an opportunity to experience
the wilderness, mountains, and wildlife aspects of
Alaska. Both are great vacations, but neither gives
you the whole Alaska vacation package since there
is so much to see there.

KEEP KIDS HAPPY WHEN TRAVELING

The key to happiness when traveling with kids
stems on providing things to do. A shoe bag can
serve double duty while traveling with kids. A
shoe bag can be hung over the window to block
the hot sun, and a shoe bag has pockets that
are just the right size to hold toys and games.
Consider buying a child’s shoe bag to hang in
the backseat window of your car. If you have
more than one child, buy a couple of shoe bags.
Before traveling, have your kids fill the shoe bags
with their favorite small games and toys. They’ll
have a variety of things to do within easy reach,
and they won’t complain about the sun shining in
their eyes.
