What for?
When you consider taking a vacation and you are at a place where you don’t know anything
(you don’t know where to go, where to stay, what to do, prices), it is useful to call a travel agency.
It will guide you in planning your trip. Besides that, if there is a service that you need and the
agency doesn’t provide it, they know where you can go to get it. Call a travel agency when you
are looking for travel information, and they might even have a great deal for you.

Guatemala has numerous places where you can have a
great time. Antigua, for example, sits in a highland valley
(at 1,500 meters) and is overlooked by the spectacular
Agua Volcano. From Antigua you can also see other
volcanoes: Acatenango and Fuego. The city attractions
include the central park, the Cathedral, the University
of San Carlos, San Francisco Church, the ruins of
Capuchinas, Casa Santo Domingo, and a jade and silver
factory. Besides Antigua, you can also visit Panajachel,
located in the Guatemalan highlands with breathtaking
views of three volcanoes (Toliman, Atitlan, San Pedro).
There you can take boat tours in Lake Atitlan. Access to
one of the best vacation spots at very reasonable prices is
only a few hours away.
