each trend.
The seven identified major trends of Forbes.com are the following:
IoT and smart home technology
On the Internet of Thing (IoT) and smart home technology has a biggest demand
because it provides home owner security, comfort, convenience and energy efficiency
by allowing them to control smart devices, often by a smart home app or other network
devices.
Augmented reality and virtual reality
It is a digital element to view by using camera on a smart phones. AR can be defined as a
system that fulfills three basic features; a combination of real world and virtual world,
real time interaction and accurate 3D registration of virtual and real objects. Virtual
reality implies a complete immersion experience that shots out the physical world.
Machine Learning
Trending topic because it is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides a
system ability to automatically learn and improve from experiences without being
explicity programmed. Machine learnings focuses on the development of computer
programs that can access data and use it to learn for themselves.
Automation
Is a technology by which a process or procedures is performed with minimal human
assistance. It is also a technique of making an apparatus and application of technology
to monitor and control the production and delivery of products and services.
Big Data
Is a field that treats way to analyze, systematically extract information from dealing with
data sets that are too large or computer to be dealt with any traditional data processing
application software. Big data refers to a large device sets of information that grow
rates.
Physical-digital integrations
People increasingly perceive and approach “things” in a different way, tending to prefer
a digital interaction over a physical one. It is a concept of having a paperless reports and
services that have been used nowadays as a automated systems. Changes in
innovation make our life more simple and reliable.

It is very adapted technology because everything nowadays is essential. It helps society
and determines of how people interact on a daily basis.

Input Devices:
Keyboard
- The computer keyboard is important because it is the most effective input tool for
letters and characters.
Mouse
- Computer mouse is used primarily for clicking, dragging, copying, and executing
programs.
Trackball
- Used to enter motion data into computer or other electronic devices.
Touchpad
- Is a flat control surface used to move the cursor and perform other functions on a
computer. Commonly focused on laptops.
Microphone
- Are used wherever sound effects needs to be picked up and converted into an
electrical format. Microphones are an essential part of any audio recording system.
Scanner
- It has many purposes which includes copying, archiving, sharing photos. The device
captures images from print papers, photos, magazines, and transfer them to the
computer.
Output Devices:
Printer
- Printer is very important because it is usually used to print documents, texts, images,
assignments, reports and handouts.
Monitor
- Is often used synonymously with computer server or display. The monitor displays
the computer’s user interface and open programs allowing the users to interact with
the computer.
Speaker
- Speakers is very common output device. The purpose of speakers is to produce
audio output that can be heard by the listener.

each.
Media

It refers to communication that uses unique tools to interconnect among people.
Media also is a mass communication like broadcasting, publishing and internet).
Advantages of the media include that it allows information to be dispersed quickly
and that it allows people to learn about cultures other than their own. The
disadvantages of the media include that it can result in the spread of misinformation
and development of bad values.
Blog
- The method of recording one’s thought or expressing one’s emotion through
writing. The advantage of blog is enables you to write down your thoughts. Easy and
quick to update. The disadvantages of blog are the personal blogs that may be
contain biased or inaccurate information.
Messenger
- It is the one who delivers messages. There are some advantages being the
messenger, you can deliver messages, announcements or gig in real time but there
are some disadvantages of a messenger such as incorrect or inaccurate information
which may lead to confusion.
4. What is the impact of ICT on individuals, Organizations, and Society?
- ICT has both positive and negative effects at how individual organizations and
society are affected. The positive impact of ICT is to increase in access - an
information and better communication and better relationships to the people
around the world. Improved access to education. The negative impact of ICT is
reduced physical activity - The users may adopt a more sedentary life. This can
lead into obesity and eyestrain. The positive effect of ICT in organization is
Communications, Information management, and Security. Video conferencing
instead of traveling to meeting, commercial webs instead of sales catalogue,
better cash flow and improved stock control. ICT enables physical security
systems such as fingerprints and facial recognitions.

Search online for media outlets that use two or more modes of communication with their
customers. Example are a new program on TV and radio broadcast over the AM frequency.
Do a comparative analysis of the types of outlets the communication network currently uses in
terms of the following.

News in Radio and a Magazine. There is obvious difference between radio and a
magazine because radio stations feature news segments that generally run in morning
and afternoon drive-time. It has range spots from 10-30 seconds and may be repeated.
Radio stations can conduct both tape and live interviews. Radio is an auditory
experience where reporters try to create a mental picture for listeners. Magazine are an
ideal target media outlet. When sending a press it will release to a magazine reporter or
editor. Magazine issues are often planned three to six months in advance and reporters
needs to write a story, so news releases and media alerts must be distributed
accordingly.

device classified?
- Yes, smartphones and tablets are indeed considered computers. A computer is
really any device that accepts input from a user, performs calculations on that
input, and provides an output to the user. Usually, with a smartphone and tablet
input is provided using a touch screen interface and the output is seen on a
screen.
2. Where do you usually see or use this device? Do you find it useful in your daily
activities? Why or why not?
- I usually used my mobile phone mostly anywhere. I find it very useful in my daily
activities to keep in touch with my family, friends, relatives and loved ones, so
that I can easily communicate them through texting, calling and also in the
messenger I can communicate with the through video call using data or wifi.
Mobile phone is hand held device that we can easily use and access the internet
easily.
