Although I am still
following our issued
curriculum pretty closely,
I do change the order of
which it is presented. I
make sure students are
exposed to their
phonemic awareness

into their academic

prompts. Once we have
completely phonics, we
move into our stories,
which then transitions us
into our writing
assignments. The way the
