CASE REPORT OF BGT

Summary

The present neurological assessment was done on Mr. Z, who is 28 years old, educated till

bachelors, and resident of Sahiwal. He was not well attached to his family. Psychological

assessment BGT, was measure administrated to the client. The client obtained a total raw score

of 8 in BGT with a cutoff score of 4 which shows his poor visual and motor perception, and

memory.

History of present illness

The client has been suffering migraines for the last 2 weeks. His physician predicts the main

cause is stress and overthinking.

General observation

During the test administration, the client’s general behavior was also observed. He was shy at

first but after the surety of confidentiality, he changed his responsive way and way very blunt.

He maintained good eye contact throughout the session. He was very cooperative and responded

to all the questions accordingly.

Time taken

The subject took 11 minutes to complete the task of copying the designs in BGT.

Qualitative Report of BGT


The result shows that the client had poorly analyzed the designs and had below-average motor

control. The total raw score of the client is 8 and the cutoff score is 4 which indicates that the

client is in the critical region. The results above mentioned baseline depicted that the client had

analyzed the design not well and had poor motor control. The errors committed by the client

during the coping include; rotation, overlapping of designs, simplification, preservation,

impotence, design closure, cohesion, and relatively more time taken. In short, it reflects the

client’s memory and visual-motor problems and revealed the client’s inability to remember the

correct figures, and shows some type of brain impairment as there is strong evidence with 8

errors.
