What is CP?
Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral = having to do with the brain
Palsy = weakness or problems with using the muscles
CP is group of disorders that affect a person's ability to move and
maintain balance and posture.
❏ Caused by brain damage that occurs during the developing
stage, mostly before birth. (eg, lack of oxygen to the brain)

Prevention

❏ Carefully watch young children at all times around bathtubs
❏ Make sure your child wears a helmet for activities like riding a bike
