1. INTRODUCTION
This report presents the analysis and design of a Meeting Hall, Circuit House. Mandi
Type of Structure: Light Gauge Steel with Hot rolled MS as per requirement
1.2.Structural System
Whole structure is designed to meet both strength and serviceability requirements when
subjected to gravity loads and lateral loads.
The building shall have combination of Light Gauge Steel Frame(LGSF) as Load bearing wall,
Non Load Bearing Wall and Heavy Gauge Hot rolled Mild Steel(MS) as per requirement. MS
Frame isordinary Braced and Ordinary Moment Frame.
For strength design of MS Limit State method isused. All standard load combinations as per
IS 800 2007 isconsidered for MS members and their connection design. LGSF Frame
isdesigned as per AISI S-100-2007/2016. Connections of LGSF shall also be designed as per
AISI S-100-2007/2016.

All the permanent loads on the structure are applied as dead load. The dead load in a building
shall comprise of self-weight of structure viz. Main Frame, walls, partitions, roof, Joist and
also include the
