Red, Yellow, Green Light foods- have 1 picture of each
food below and have students place the foods in the
proper category
Materials and Resources (What teaching materials
do you need to obtain and bring? It does not have to
be done using a power point format. You will need to
include every item needed.):
Pictures of:
Red- bacon, regular soda, potato chips
Yellow- pasta, avocado, chicken
Green- celery, watermelon, tomatoes

portion of apple w/ peanut butter/cheese

Serve 1 apple and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter/ 1
slice of cheddar cheese to demonstrate portion and feel
satiety from it
