This British Standard has been prepared under the direction of the Welding
Standards Policy Committee and is the English language version of
EN 27286:1991 “Graphical symbols for resistance welding equipment”, published
by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It supersedes
BS 7279:1990, which is withdrawn.
EN 27286:1991 is identical with ISO 7286:1986 published by the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO).
A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a
contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application.
Compliance with a British Standard does not of itself confer immunity
from legal obligations.
