Rehabilitation of Manila Bay

Manila Bay holds the Philippines most stunning sunsets. Considering the beauty of
Manila Bay many authors used it in making poems, songs and stories. Because of the growing
population in the country, the natural environment of Manila Bay is slowly destroying by us.

Everyday, the bay has been abused by the Filipinos. Tons of waste are disposed in the
ocean considering Manila Bay one of the most polluted bays in the world. According to research,
the illegal disposal of waste from different facilities results to the destruction of Manila Bay and
its marine life.

Because of this problem that is taking a long time to address, the pollution causes
massive destruction in the bodies of water, the government finally take action on this problem,
on rehabilitating the Manila Bay. There were thousands of participants and volunteers that join to
clean and rehabilitate the bay. They give notice of closure to the different big establishments that
is illegally discharging waste. The government also relocate the families that is living besides the
bay which is good because they are also one of the contributors in disposing waste in the bay.
Because of the lack of toilet facilities and trash bins the waste ends up in the bodies of water. The
rehabilitation also aims to restore and improve the bay’s water quality because they also want it
to turn back the old Manila Bay that is suitable for swimming and other activities.

The rehabilitation makes a great impact as of today, turning the bay full of garbage into a
cleaner one. But more has to be done and to implement in able for us to see once again the
beautiful sunset in Manila Bay we should have discipline and help each other to implement
cleanliness not only in Manila Bay but also anywhere we go.

Love is one of the most important thing in our life. Love could make our lives become
wonderful because it could help us get closer to others, make us have goals to achieve and make
our lives fulfilled. Love is about taking risks and doing things that you would never dream of
doing, to achieve that feeling with another being.

In the short film that we have watched there is a boy that met a girl in school and the love
of the boy grows as day pass by. Making him glance at her every time and takes her a photo
secretly. The girl notice the boy’s feeling for her and their love develop as days pass until they
get the heart of each other. And there is also another girl that crushes the boy but he chose the
first girl over the second one. But as time goes by the boy left the girl and as we go forward the
boy got sick and needed some medical help so the girl help the boy. At the hospital there is the
second girl watching the boy, and then suddenly they met and there goes the misunderstanding of
the two. They fought and answered but at the end they amended each other. The film is all about
love, the wonderful things about it and the consequences that might happen along the way. The
way they make the film is quite beautiful, the script is well written. But there are still part that
needs improvement just like the cinematography, the voiceover and the editing. But overall the
film was great.

It’s not a crime to fall in love. Love is like a rose, the beauty of love cannot be described,
but its stem are filled with thorns. There are the ups and downs, it comes with jealousy, hatred
and conflicts, but that should not make us give up on love.
