In another English GED course “Composition and communication skills”, we have gone through many
writing parts. By analyzing error and contrasting tool, we get to know the proper structure, problems
and knowledge of our target language. By writing Eassy, paragraph, cv etc an insight get visible in front
of us about the Errors of us. It was at first seems to us much difficult to express our word in an unusual
language. After knowing the structure and rules it becomes clear. Our course teacher makes our errors
and confusions clear by using our usual language. We are highly influenced by our first language, Bangla.
In communicational fact it is really essential part to get the proper knowledge of other language and
systems of utterance. At first this course seems to us difficult then, using the instruction, teacher gave us
helped us. The teacher finds out our problems and gives solution through our language. After practicing
it becomes easier. If we did not know our errors, we never could do better in linguistic.
Without knowing the structure, we can’t be good at language of any region. So by the help of the course
“Fundamental of English” we could get to know the basic fundamental of English language. Through it,
we could be good at speaking as well. It enriched our grammatical knowledge and clears up the errors
and constructive difficulties. These two courses are integral to strengthen our basic comprehension,
vocabulary and grammar skills which are the part of a language. To get the language “English” these
course are the originals efforts. Through the course “Fundamental of English” and “Composition and
Communication skills” we get principles that govern syntax, word formation, pronounciation and other
features of the English language. Many of us did not know the use of tense.” I have finished my work”
and I finished my work yesterday. These are the two examples of tense. But, many of us use the tense as
an example of past or past perfect tense. They had no proper knowledge of our second language or
target language. After doing the course we get to clear our errors. Fundamental of English is about the
basic way of this language in speaking, listening, and writing through the various strategies that learners
use in the process of language learning. It also explores how error analysis has its important impact in
understanding the language learning process and helps the teachers in designing different remedies for
supporting the learner’s learning. It gives the teachers ideas and knowledge about the weak areas of the
learners or student’s language and helps them in focusing on those points particularly it improves and
provides the deeper insight in different areas of language. Through the analyzing parts, the linguistic
parts are become easier to us.
Our two English GED courses helped us to improve our English language skills. But, personally I felt some
lacking in them. In the course “fundamental of English” we have gone through some basic grammar,
which are the part of English language. But, we all have this ides from the school life. Who knows these
grammar structures has to give four months knowing nothing new to think and who has no skills about
the basic of English grammar can’t cooperate with the time of teaching grammar.
This course should be practice in a practical way by speaking more and personally I think in this
graduation level, we need vocabulary skills more to improve our target language as a student of English
literature. A good communication skill is a prerequisite for professionals in all walks of life. So the course
“composition and communication skills should be enriched. In this course we got to know the rule of
writing, Eassy, cv and so on. But there is no scope to enrich our communication skills. Where,
communication skills are most important parts for a learner of the English language. In other country, it
is practiced in a practical way. So this course should be more standard.
