Customer : Ordnance factory , Kanpur ( OFC )

Baruffaldi make servo amplifier (type : DMS08BF) and motor ( type : B5602P-

01121) were despatched from MBX, and retrofitted on TSC20 m/co’s

right & left turret units, at OFC by our engineer , during December 2010. The units

were working properly for few days and later on found to have problems as below :

The right side turret, whenever the m/c is switched on , the display on amplifier

module shows ‘ zero ‘ & it displays an alarm indicating ‘ resolver error ’.

Since this alarm comes immediately after switch on, no further functions are possible

from the turret side. We have requested M/S Sanprem consultants to attend to this

problem & were advised to replace the resolver cable which connects amplifier and

motor ( cable supplied by HMT) . A new resolver cable is being sent from MBX

shortly.But services of M/S Sanprem consultants are required at OFC since this a

new version of module being installed by us for the first time.

Please arrange to inform M/S Sanprem Consultants regarding above problem and

Necessary deputation of their service engineer and confirm the details of his visit , to

plan our engineer along with him.
