Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a Ph.D. fellowship in 5G Orchestration with reference to your advertisement
in Jobbnorge.no.

Coming to my academic background, after completing my 10+2 education, fascinated about the
evolution of communication in Digital Subscriber Line(DSL), Broadband, and 3G in cellular phones, I
have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) as a specialisation in my Bachelor of
Technology(undergraduate) a four-year course. I got good exposure on Signals & Systems, Analog &
Digital Communications in the first three years. In the final year, subjects like Cellular and Mobile
Communications, Telecommunication Switching Systems & Networks made me more curious about
recent communication technologies. I have done an academic project titled 'Measurement of
Jamming Effectiveness using Cross-correlation Index'.

To strengthen my bondage with the communication I have chosen Data Communication & Networks
as a specialization in my Masters of Technology, a two-year course, at VFSTR University. I studied
subjects like Cellular and Mobile Networks, Fundamentals of Data Communication & Networking,
Wireless Communication & Networks, Advanced Satellite Communications & Applications with keen
and dedicated interest. I have done training on Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in two
institutes namely Micro Computers(6 months) and Cybrary.it(online 15.5-hour course). I have done
an academic project titled 'Multi-Protocol Label Switching based Recovery Mechanisms' and at the
end of it, I published a paper titled 'Optimal and Guaranteed Alternative Path for Multiple Link
Failures in MPLS networks' in International Conference on Internet of Things for Smart
Cities(ICIOTSC-17). I have visited the communication giant CISCO to learn modern technologies being
used in mobile and broadband networks. I participated in a three-day workshop on Signal Processing
for LTE and 5G presented by an industry person at my University, which made me explore the recent
developments in the 5G technology. I started reading research publications related to several new
approaches to increase capacity, data rates in 5G communications like Beamforming, MIMO
antennas, etc.

I joined as Assistant Professor in DVR & Dr.HS MIC College of Technology and taken subjects Signals
& Systems, Cellular & Mobile Communications. I have attended a one-week short term course on 5G
Wireless Technologies: OFDM, Massive MIMO, mmWave, NOMA, FBMC, Full Duplex, NB, NR-IoT
with Matlab Project organized by IIT Kanpur in July 2019.

My research interests include optimal resource allocation in 5G Device to Device Communication

and optimal relay selection in 5G Device-to-Device Communications ,, Wireless Networking, resource
allocation of data. Considering above all credentials, the Ph.D. program will be an excellent
opportunity to fulfill my research interests, to take part in the research, develop my technical skills,
knowledge, and expertise and contribute to innovative research in the field of 5G communications. I
am looking forward to working with you. If there is anything else you need to know about me feel
free to contact me.

Thanks for your time

Yours Sincerely

Siva Rama Krishna Ayaluru
