1  Ecuador is a multicultural country, it’s so diverse. Customs in Ecuador have been acquired over several

2 generations. Also, in Ecuador are many traditions that nowadays are still carried out in different parts

3  of the country, such as festivities, languages, traditional food, among others, In Ecuador a few days ago

4 a very important festivity was celebrated, which is the day of the dead. On this holiday, family members

5    visit their loved ones in the cemeteries, many of them bring food and eat with them. They do that because

6  it represents sharing a moment   with people who are no longer in the world. On the other hand, it’s

7  very common for Ecuadorians to get used to consuming Colada Morada” and “Guagua de pan” as a

8    traditional food for the day of the dead. Another uncommon customs that Ecuadorians have is to burn

9 "Año viejos" on new year 's eve. This tradition has been practiced for many years, the reason why this is

10  done is to burn all the things from last year and start a new year with a positive mind and new goals. As

11 we can see, traditions in Ecuador are very original. However, this year due to COVID19 it hasn’t been
