Mustafa, the businessman behind the new hotel, earned his nickname of

Asiacell

Asiacell, the first mobile telecommunications company in Iraq, was established in the city of
Sulaymaniyah in 1999.
Asiacell began its first commercial operations in 2000.
In October 2003, Asiacell was granted a two-year GSM license for the six northern provinces of
Iraq, catering in the process to a wider client base who collectively shared a need for a quality
mobile network. The license was extended in 2005 to cover the entirety of the Iraqi Republic.
Consequently, today it is the only telecom network to provide coverage nationwide.
In August 2007, Asiacell bid and won a 15-year national license, becoming the GSM telecom
operator with the largest long-term network coverage in the country. The company's
breakthrough successes have naturally led to its expansion and growth, thereby quickly
reaching almost 2000 employees.

The famous Kurdish singer Chopy Fatah became the cultural ambassador of the company in
2008. To handle new business operations, Asiacell also simultaneously established new
executive offices in Baghdad, Mosul, and other major cities in Iraq,
Today, the company caters to more than 9.1 million subscribers around the country.
On February 2, 2013, Asiacell went public offering 25% of its equity, in an IPO that was
considered the largest in the MEANA region since 2008.
In April 2015, the Iraqi legend of Arabic music Kadhim Al-Saher became representative of the
brand.

Faruk Medical City was built on 70,000 square meters, a large-scale specification that allows
us to accept a considerable number of patients and serve them in a professional and
sophisticated environment where patient safety and comfort is top priority.
From the very first building blocks, all of the architects, designers, and organizers used the
highest standards and quality in the construction of Faruk Medical City, which boasts an
advanced antibacterial sterilization system and helipads for medical helicopters to transfer
patients in case of emergency. Meanwhile, the internal of the building was designed so that
all patients and their relatives can easily access the various areas of the hospital. A patient-
centric approach was considered in all aspects of architecture and design.
Faruk Medical City has 210 patient beds and more than 190 high-caliber and board-certified
physicians, always ready to take care of you.
Faruk Medical City has 120 fully equipped single rooms, 21 modern suites outfitted with
world-class medical equipment and designs, and 3 presidential suites equipped with devices
for the disabled so as to offer the supportive and healing environment that makes our
hospital unique.

Faruk Medical City has 11 advanced operating rooms equipped with the latest medical
technologies monitored by our professional staff. The design of our system offers customized
quality care throughout the hospital.
One of our major priorities is to offer the highest level of intensive care. For this purpose, we
have prepared 6 open-heart intensive care beds, 6 general intensive care beds, 6 coronary
care beds equipped with the best and latest medical technology. Furthermore, we have 5
neonatal (premature newborn) intensive care beds, which facilitate close observation by
superior staff through the most advanced technology.

In addition to the medical service, our patients receive the utmost respect in terms of privacy
and confidentiality. This is through strict and proper management of all patient information
and documentation, which makes Faruk Medical City unique.

Grand Millennium Sulaimani

The Grand Millennium Hotel Shary Jwan is the new landmark of the autonomous Kurdistan
Region’s second city. The hotel, built by the local Faruk Group Holding which belongs to one
of the city’s richest businessmen, Faruk Mustafa, catches the eye in and outside the city. The
blue-glass skyscraper towers over Sulaimani from a hill.

starting his business empire by setting up one of the main Kurdish telephone companies,
Asiacell, which now operates across Iraq.
He wants to serve the community with the hotel, said Hawre Daro Noori, CEO of the Faruk
Group Holding. “We’ve done something special, for all of Iraq.”
So special, that Mustafa does not expect to see much back anytime soon from his investment
of 250 million dollars, according to Daro (his mate). “He wanted to fulfil his dream.”

The hotel has 253 rooms, of which 150 are operational and seven restaurants, of which three
are open. It also has a large ballroom, an auditorium that seats over 250 people and 12
meeting rooms in different sizes. Many of the visitors at the opening gala voiced doubt
whetFor that reason, the hotel’s prices will be moderate, compared to the other luxury hotels,
he announced. The manager expects guests in all categories to come: business, leisure,
tourists and the locals who can afford weekends in the spa and swimming pool.
And once Iraq’s first revolving restaurant at the top opens, many locals will make it their
place to be, he predicted. That was an opinion shared by visitors at the opening night:
Sulaimani people like these kinds of novelties, many saidher the hotel would fill up anytime
soon.
For Mustafa, an important part of the project is to offer jobs in the local market. “We did that
before with Asiacell and the cement factory that is part of our holding. We started with a lot
of foreigners. But, for instance Asiacell, now has about 98 percent local staff.”

because he sees that working hard and continuously will help him to achieve more
goals in his life, so if you want to be like him you need to be powerful guy and not
feeling scare of failure in your life like Faruk did in his life while he was doing his
