Pakistan Balance of Payments 2000-07

- The balance of payments document shows Pakistan's current account balance, trade balance, exports, imports, services, private transfers, official transfers, and capital account balances from 2000-2006. - In 2005-2006, Pakistan had a large current account deficit of $5.6 billion and an overall balance deficit of $3.4 billion before debt relief. - To finance the deficits, Pakistan relied heavily on exceptional financing including debt relief, rollovers of foreign currency deposits and borrowing from international financial institutions.
