PROJECT # 01

TO BUILD A POWER SUPPLY


MATERIAL USED IN THIS PROJECT;

 Transfarmer
 Ractifierbrigde
 Capacitor
 Integrated circuit e.g (7805, 7809. 7812)

PURPOSE;

In this project we convert the 220 V to 5,9,12 V by using the intergrated


circuit which work to regulate the current. This voltage now become is
very useful for many project that we perform in our next project .and
also the LED that we used is comfortable for the DC voltage of 5, 9
volt.

WORKING;

1) Transfarmer
The transformer is used to convert the high AC voltage to small AC
voltage that may have 12 volt or 24 volt, but I using the
transformer of 24 volt in power supply.
2) Ractifierbrigde;
The rectifierbigde work as the converter of AC voltage to DC
voltage. In the rectifier their we used 4 diode. Two used forward
baised and two used reverse baised that full covnvert the AS
signal into DC signal.
3) CAPACITOR;
When to cycle of the AC signal convert into the DC signal but
therir is some effect of the AC signal remain in it. So in the
capacitor this types of effect minimize to some extant.
4) INTEGRATED CIRCUIT;
As the capacitor minimize the some effect of AC signal but can not
regulate the voltage. But the IC do that . There is the different
type of IC which regulate the voltage according to its own value.
Also in the IC the effect of AC signal is completely finished. At last
we get the pure DC signal. Then that we used for different
purpose.
