ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
INTRODUCTION
       The nature of operations of the JPIA-LPC Chapter coincides with the aim of providing a
medium freedom of expression aspiration, to promote and protect the welfare and interests of
accountancy students in particular and the accountancy profession in general. It thus also
developed the responsible student and build common tie that would bind together us- accounting
students.
Among the major accomplishments of the JPIA – LPC Chapter F.Y. 2018-2019,
are as follows:
   1. Membership Requirements - The LPC Chapter – JPIA had duly accomplished the
       election of new set of officers for the F.Y. 2018-2019 and the membership requirements
       including a total of fifty-one (51) members. It was then under Mr. Adrian D. Guevarra -
       President and the supervision of Miss Jaquelyn P. Bayani, CPA – the current JPIA adviser.
2. Tutorial Session - The said event was held last June 26, - July 27, 2018. Our objectives
   are; To uphold and give support to freshmen in learning areas and topics regarding the
   fundamentals in accounting, to assess not only their ability but also their weaknesses in
   performing accounting processes and to give additional ideas and suggest suitable study
   habits that could be beneficial in their learning procedures. The Vice President for
   Academics, Ms. Trisha F. Punzalan, was appointed to prepare the examination after the
   discussion. The result of the examination will be evaluated and will measure the
   significant condition of the freshmen in learning the fundamental principles of
   Accounting. During 1st examination, Jenny Santos got the highest score. And 2nd
   examination, Andreah Carvajal got the highest score. Jenny and Andreah was awarded
   for reaping the highest score in 1 st and 2nd evaluation during the annual tutorial of
   Accountancy students held at Limay Polytechnic College. The Vice President for
   Academics add the score of 1st and 2nd evaluation to have the overall ranking. Jerome
   Marquez was awarded for being the Rank 1 among the Accountancy students during the
   annual tutorial of Accountancy students held at Limay Polytechnic College.
3. Acquaintance Party – The Acquaintance of LPC themed “So Happy Together No Matter
   The Weather” was held last July 22, 2018 at Limay Polytechnic College. Weeks before,
   the officers of all organization in LPC took responsibility of the preparation for the said
   event. BSA was assigned to do the design on stage. On the day of the event, the time
   written on the program was followed because the members and officers are well
   informed of the time of the program. The event which is called “Fashion Show”
   prepared by Ms. Lovely Ranera. The judges are the three (3) Presidents in each
   department. From BSA, Ma. Angelika Cuevas won the Fashion Show in Vintage Attire
   Female. And from the Acquaintance Winners Choice by Counselor Ed Cortez, the of two
   (2) of them are from by BSA. Best in Kiddie Attire Female was Shayne Malubay and Best
   in Vintage Attire was Jomar Rosales. All students take up Bachelor of Science and
   Accountancy together with the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor
   of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education have been acquainted on
   the month of July. In cooperation with fellow students, the whole acquaintance party
   ends up well according to the plan.
4. Buwan ng Wika – The Buwan ng wika of LPC themed “Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik” was
   held last August 24, 2018 at Limay Polytechnic College. All Students was required to
   wear a traditional attire in the Philippines. Windelyn Culanag, student from BSA won
   the Poem making Contest. The main event was the Fashion Show. Some BSA students
   joined in the madulang kwento. The BSA representative did their best in the said event
   but they are not lucky in that day. And after the Fashion Show, Ms. Lovely Ranera
   started the “Filipino Games” some BSA student won in the games. Before the day ends,
   Vienna Diego, President of Kamfil started the Theatrical play. And all students enjoyed in
   watching their performance.
5. Accountancy Day – The Accountancy Day of JPIA-LPC Chapter themed "Convocation of
   young minds and brave hearts in achieving JPIANS’ Spirit" was held last September 22,
   2018 at Kenneth’s Inland Resort. Weeks before, the officers took responsibility of the
   preparation for the said event. The venue was taken care of the VP External Jomar
   Rosales and President Adrian Guevarra. VP Finance Shiela Mae De Dios was the one
   responsible for the souvenirs and funding of expenses. Waivers were given to the
   members a week before the event to confirm their attendance. The waiver was
   composed by Sec. Gen. Narleah Pangilinan. It was distributed by VP Internal Ma.
   Angelika Cuevas to the representatives of each year level. Representatives are
   instructed to tell the members to include their parents/guardians contact number that
   will be checked by VP Communications Bernadeth Ann Ibanez to know whether the
   number is valid and active. The flow of the program was arranged by VP Internal
   together with the President. Days before the said event, the officers called for a general
   meeting to fully furnish everything and remind them of what they have to do. A day
   before the event, some of the officers went to the venue to fix the place and bring all
   the needed materials. Certificates of attendance were also prepared to be given to the
   members.          On the day of the event, the time written on the program was followed
   because the members and officers are well informed of the time of the program. In the
   end, the Abnegation faction was the team whom became the champion, where they
   were given a prize. Before the start of the program proper, the guardians of each faction
   - which are the President and VP’s, made their own strategies to give motivation for
   their members and for them to get along with each other and work as a team. Palarong
   JPIAN was the first event held in the Accountancy Day. It was prepared by VP Non
   Lisette Yntig. It is composed by six stations where each station was facilitated by one
   officer. The stations were played simultaneously by the five factions and in the end the
   Team Abnegation, The Selfless was the overall winner. Quiz bowl was the next event
   which was prepared the VP Academics Trisha Punzalan and our adviser, Miss Jaquelyn
   Bayani, CPA. After the test papers were checked the highest scores are Edgardo Manio
   Jr. for the first year and Narleah Pngilinan for the fourth year. After the quiz bowl, it has
   followed by the lunch break where the order was based on the result of Palarong JPIAN.
   The officers together with the fourth years and honorary member helped the
   distribution of the foods to the members.
   Next is the main event which is called “Hiyas ng Ikatlong Lahi” prepared by VP Non
   Acad. The judges were the visitors who came to join the Accountancy Day. First year
   participant Edgardo Manio Jr. won the title. Awarding of winners was next in line where
   everyone got to receive their prize for all their participations in the said event.
ACADEMICS
  The essence of Accountancy Day is to give the members a break and provide them the
  opportunity to present some skills they have on their selves as an Accountancy student.
  One of the objectives of this event is to determine the performance of the Accountancy
  students in terms of their capability to engage with different games, leadership,
  cooperation and academic aspects. As a part of the program, the members of JPIA (from
  first years to fourth years students) were about to take an examination in accordance to
  their standing major subjects. The result of the Quiz Bowl was included as quiz and to be
  added to their academic performance. Ms. Jaquelyn Bayani, CPA, JPIA-LPC Chapter Adviser,
  prepared the exams to be taken by the Senior accounting students and VP-Academics, Ms.
  Trisha Punzalan prepared the exams for freshmen accounting students. The examination
  held on the function hall of the resort at 10 o’clock in the morning and to be passed at
  11:30 o’clock in the afternoon. All members took the exam in the same time interval.The
  topnotcher of the Quiz Bowl by first year and fourth year level were about to receive an
  accounting book which corresponds to his major subjects.

  The result of the exams has a significant relation with the academic status of the students.
  The ability to restore knowledge is good, but ability to apply it in the manner it’s supposed
  to be is the best.

6. Intramurals - The Intramurals 2018 of Limay Polytechnic College themed “Rise, Fly and
   Soar: Exceeding Expectations” was held last September 26, 2018 at Limay Polytechnic
   College and September 27-28, 2018 at Bo. Luz, Limay, Bataan. In the 1 st day of
   Intramurals, BSA won the 1st place in yell. Some players from BSA won in their sports.
   Bryan Satingin won in the Table Tennis Single, Maria Luisa Margallo won in the Scrabble
   Women, Ronnel Honor won in the Chess Men and last, Windelyn Culanag won in the
   Chess Women for four consecutive years. The Main Event was the Mr. and Ms.
   Intramurals 2018. Jenny Santos was awarded for Best in Casual Wear 2018. And the
   other representative of BSA in the said pageant did not won any title. The 2 nd and 3rd day
   was held at Bo. Luz, Limay Bataan. Ms. Lovely Ranera started all the Sports that she
   prepared in that place. In cooperation with fellow students, the whole acquaintance
   party ends up well according to the plan. In the cooperation of all students in LPC, the
   whole Intramurals 2018 ends up well according to the plan.
