Sri.Narsimhaiah is a resident of Donnenahalli, Tavarekere

Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk. He owns a land of 2 acres in the

said village. As he was an illiterate and ignorant of legal matters

he wanted to appoint Mr.Hanuman Gupta as his Attorney for

initiating the sale proceeds of his land. Draft a General Power of

Attorney.

Assignment No.8 – Will

Smt.Rathnamma is a resident of Bengaluru. She is widow

and has a son & 2 daughters out of her wedlock. She out of her

own earnings purchased a house in HUDCO colony in Bengaluru.

As she is very age old and has some health issues her daughters

only taking care of her medical expenses and livelihood. Son was

almost leading a wayward life so she wanted to assign the

property to her 2 responsible daughters equally through a will.

GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THIS POWER OF ATTORNEY that


We, (1) Sri. Narasimha Murthy, Aged 48 years, S/o.
Narasimhaiah, (2) Smt.Venkatalakshmamma, W/o
Narasimhaiah, aged 65 years, both are residing at Donnenahalli,
Thavarekere Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, do hereby appoint,
nominate and constitute Sri.Hanuman Gupta, S/o. Late Ram
Gupta, Aged 57 years, residing at No. 38, 10th Main, 3rd Stage,
Bhanashankari, Bangalore–560085, as our true and lawful
attorney, in our name and on our behalf.

WHEREAS that we are the joint owners along with Sri.


Narasimhaiah of the agricultural dry land in Sy.No.39/7,
measuring an extent of 2 Acres of Donnenahalli village,
Thavarekere Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, which is morefully
and particularly described in the Schedule hereunder and
hereinafter referred as Schedule Property. That Sri.
Narasimhaiah has executed a power of attorney in favour of our
Attorney on 29/10/2005, which is registered as document
No.KEN-4-00418-2005-06, stored in CD No. KEND238, dated
03/11/2005, in the office of the Sub-registrar, Kengeri,
Bangalore, wherein we have signed as consenting witness to the
said deed. That at the instance of our attorney and also in order
to give full powers to him to deal with the schedule property on
our behalf, this General Power of Attorney is executed.

WHEREAS due to our commitments, we are unable and


cannot be personally present before all the authorities including
the court and take care of the matter in respect of the Schedule

Property. Therefore, we deem fit, proper and expedient to appoint
the above named attorney. We authorise and empower our
attorney, to do all or any of the following acts, deeds on our
behalf, in respect of the Schedule Property.

NOW THEREFORE BY THESE PRESENTS, we hereby


constitute and appoint the above named Sri. HANUMAN GUPTA
as our lawful Attorney to do all or any of the following acts,
deeds, things, viz., in respect of the Schedule Property.

1. To appear and act either personally or through agent in


all courts, including High Courts, Civil, Revenue or Criminal and
before all authorities, tribunals and offices of the Government.

2. To search for prospective buyer, to enter into an


agreement of sale or execute sale deed in respect of the schedule
property on our behalf before the concerned Sub- registrar, file
declarations and sign applications and swear to affidavits in this
regard and to put the purchaser in vacant possession of the
schedule property.

3. To receive sale consideration amount, issue receipts on


our behalf and to convey the proper title to the purchaser in
respect of the schedule property.

4. To execute the sale deed in favour of my attorney in


pursuance to the registered power of attorney and sale agreement
of the schedule property, as the same are executed for
consideration.

5. And generally to do, execute and perform all and every
act, matter and thing whatsoever in any way necessary or
expedient to be done in respect of the above said case and in
respect of the said property.

AND I hereby agree that all the acts, deeds and things
lawfully done by said attorney shall be construed as acts, deeds
and things done by me and I undertake to ratify and confirm all
and whatsoever that my said Attorney shall lawfully do or cause
to be done for me by virtue of the power hereby given.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have signed this Deed on this


Twenty Ninth Day of September Two Thousand Six (29-9-2006) at
Bangalore.
