Days of Creation

God created the world over the course of seven days according to the Book of Genesis: On the first three days, God created light, separated the sky and waters, and created land and vegetation. On the next three days, God created the lights in the sky, living creatures that inhabit the sea and sky, and land animals. Finally, on the sixth day God created mankind in His image and allowed them to govern over everything. On the seventh day, God rested from His work.
