Cloud Watch

Cloud Watch monitors and collects metrics, logs, and configurations of AWS resources to provide visibility into operations, troubleshoot issues, and manage resources. CloudTrail creates a record of API calls and related events made on AWS to provide visibility for governance, compliance, operational auditing, and risk auditing of user and resource activity. Both services provide visibility into AWS usage and operations but Cloud Watch focuses on monitoring metrics and configurations while CloudTrail focuses on recording API usage and events.
