About a research proposal
A research proposal is a concise and coherent summary of your proposed research. It sets out
the central issues or questions that you intend to address. It outlines the general area of study
within which your research falls, referring to the current state of knowledge and any recent
debates on the topic. Students are required to obtain information from a variety of sources (i.e.,
reports, books, scholarly journals, newspapers and etc) and then place it in reasonably
developed ideas. The steps to write are:

Task
 Prepare a research proposal on issues related to Project Management.

Instructions
 Your work should be neat and clear (Neatness has its own value).
 Any delay for term paper submission will not be accepted unless reasonable evidence is presented.
The presentation date will be fixed after paper submission.
 Academic dishonesty (plagiarism, cheating and etc) will make your value zero and results in
other sanctions as may be authorized by the university.

The proposal should be word-processed, with Times New Roman font 12, line spacing 1.5, and
one blank line between paragraphs. Chapters’ topics are in the “center”, all in capital letters,
but the remaining topics are “left aligned”. Chapter starts in new page. Margins are 1-inch
wide on all sides.

Evaluation points:
 Paper (20%): Content, organization, quality of evidence presented, style, language and
mechanics.
 Presentation (10%): Formality, time management, reaction to questions, and style.
