1. Required software version
The V1.11 software version is now available for the Pentra C200.
This software version fixes the bug of the V1.10 software version concerning the automatic transmission of the results
to the host in online batch mode.
The V1.11 software version must be installed on Pentra C200 that already have the V1.10 software version
and the V1.54 ISE software version (refer to the "RAN456C: Software V1.10 Release Note" technical note).
■ Check the software version on your instrument in the Version screen (Services > Customer Services > Version).
Please note that you can install the V1.11 software version without installing the V1.10 software version
before, on condition that your instrument is not equipped with an ISE module and it already has the V1.07
software version.
However, you must update the customer documentation and train the customer for the V1.10 software
version (refer to the "RAN456C: Software V1.10 Release Note" technical note).
■ Check the OS version and its compatibility with the language to be installed.
- For EN and FR: the V1.11 software version can be installed on an instrument equipped with OS 2550414106 (DOM
1GB) or OS 2550498107 (DOM 1GB) or OS 2550584108 (DOM 2GB).
- For other languages, the V1.11 software version can only be installed on an instrument equipped with OS
2550584108 (DOM 2GB).
■ If the OS version is not compatible with the language to be installed, update your instrument with the DOM Ref.

2. V1.11 software version download
■ Download the V1.11 software version in the language to be installed.
The file contains: - the user-interface software (UI Main)
- the mechanical control software (Unit Main)

■ Unzip the file to the root directory of a USB key.
3. V1.11 software version update
Here is a summary of the steps to follow in order to update your instrument with the V1.11 software version.
For more information about software version updates, refer to the "RAS610: Software version installation" procedure
of your technical manual.
■ Insert your USB key.
■ Back up the database.
■ Press OS Reboot.
■ From Windows, right-click the Start button, click Explore and select Removable disk E.
■ Open the UI Main folder and double-click setup90.bat.
■ Open the Unit Main folder and double-click update.bat.
■ Check the regional settings according to the language to be installed.
■ Click the Start button, then click UI to switch off and on the analyzer.
■ Restore the database (do not shut down the analyzer at this stage of the procedure).
■ Register the ABX Pentra Clean-Chem CP in the Reagent screen (Services > System Configuration > Reagent)
as follows:
- Select the reagent code #850 (reagent name: CLEA).
- Press Delete.
- Press Save.
- Press OK.
- Enter the data below and press Save to register the ABX Pentra Clean-Chem CP with the reagent code #815
(reagent name: Clean).

■ Reconfigure the ABX Pentra Clean-Chem CP in both DET.W bottles (probe and mixer) in the Reagent Tray screen
(Inventory > Reagent Tray).

■ (Optional) If your instrument is equipped with an ISE module, configure the chloride electrode as follows:
- Go to Services > Customer Services > Sequence.
- Select ON or OFF for Cl Electrode (depending on individual customer needs) and press Exec.
- A pop-up is displayed: "Please Shut Down the system. OK?"
- Press OK.
■ Switch off then switch on the instrument.
4. Checks after intervention
■ Check the software version on your instrument in the Version screen (Services > Customer Services > Version).
■ Make sure that you have access to the Pentra C200 User Manual on the customer USB key when you press Help
from the generic toolbar.
■ Check the pipetting accuracy and precision of your instrument. Refer to the "RAS595: Check up after intervention"
of your technical manual.

5. Information about the V1.11 software version
5.1. Corrected bugs
The bug identified in the V1.10 software version has been corrected. Refer to the "RAN731A: V1.10 software bugs list"
service information letter.
