First, let us consider all the information available:

 The telecom company has 100000 new costumers every year.


 It takes 30 seconds to look up for the information manually.
 A minute of work of an operator costs 0,05 Euro to the company.

Therefore, every year the company would have to allocate 3000000 seconds, or equally speaking, 50000
minutes of human work to perform its activity. As well, it will have to spend 2500 Euros on wages every
year to get this task done.

According to the developers of Livechat1 the average person types between 38 and 40 words per minute,
that translates to something in between 190 and 200 characters per minute.
