Answer:
Buyers buy on emotion. Buying decisions are always the result of a change in the customer’s
emotional state. While information helps to change that emotional state, it’s the emotion
that’s important, not the information. Buying and selling operate on the emotional level.
Feelings trigger people to buy, to say yes and to take action. People are motivated and
influenced to buy, or not to buy, through their feelings and emotions.
Sentiment analysis help businesses monitor brand and product sentiment in customer
feedback, and understand customer needs. Sentiment analysis is extremely important because
it helps businesses quickly understand the overall opinions of their customers. Since
customers express their thoughts and feelings more openly than ever before, sentiment
analysis is becoming an essential tool to monitor and understand that sentiment. For example,
using sentiment analysis to automatically analyse reviews about a product could help to
discover if customers are happy about the pricing plans and customer service.
In a technology sense, sentiment analysis is a unique blend of machine learning and artificial
intelligence, allowing companies to use digitally-based data tools to select useful, actionable
moves that steer social media consumers toward their products and services. The most
straightforward use for sentiment analysis tools for marketers is the measurement of trends in
general sentiment on social media. Customers might give some feedback to customer service
team directly. But they are also going to give their honest opinion on other platforms such as
Facebook, discussion forums, Amazon, Twitter, etc. By using sentiment analysis, we can not
only track these opinions but harvest them. This will allow us to really take customer’s
feedback on board and improve product at the same time. Sentiment analysis helps in brand
monitoring, improving customer support, tracking employee’s feedback, providing better
product analysis, social media monitoring etc. So sentiment Analysis can help close the deal.
