Good morning/afternoon! I am glad to welcome you to our first lesson. Today


is a good day to begin the fun-filled, fascinating, and informative journey as we ex-
plore and discover the beauty of the Pre-Colonial Period. As we continue our lesson,
I hope that we will accomplish our learning objectives together. To begin with, let us
first pray "Our Father" or you may have your spontaneous/ own prayer.
The content of our first topic is all about the folk narratives that will reveal
about people's lives and culture in the ancient past. This topic will allow you to appre-
ciate the wisdom of our ancestors that continues to influence our experiences.
