Function Notation:
Earlier we described function as a special kind of relation. One in which
x-coordinate is matched with only one y-coordinate.
Input and Output of a Function:
The domain of a function is called the input of a function and the range is
called the output of the function.
Since the output (y-coordinate) is completely determined by the input
(x-coordinate), we write y=f(x).
