                                       T-PEPG GOAL SETTING FORM
                                             PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
 My professional goal is to expand my knowledge of and effectively use technology to teach my students in the
 classroom and remotely.
 What National Board Standard(s) does my goal relate to?
 Core Proposition 2: “Teachers know the subjects they teach and how to teach those subjects to students.”
 Indicator 2.2: “The teacher creates learning experiences that make the discipline accessible and meaningful for
 students to ensure mastery of the content.”
 This goal specifically addresses the portion of the standard/indicator that states “educators keep abreast of
 technological developments that have implications for their subject areas and their teaching, utilizing digital
 tools employed within their discipline.”
 Describe the methods/strategies/activities that will be used to accomplish my goal?
     1. I will participate in school and district wide professional development pertaining to the use of
         technology.
     2. I will locate and participate in additional professional development (such as webinars) pertaining to the
         use of technology independently or with colleagues.
     3. I will collaborate with other K-2 teachers to share strategies and receive support.
     4. I will seek out guidance/assistance from the technology mentor as well as the literacy and math
         coaches for additional support in using technology in the classroom/remotely.
     5. I will find, adapt, and create lessons on multiple technology platforms and use them in the
         classroom/remotely.
 How will attainment of my goal be measured?
    1. I will collect certificates of completion from the professional development sessions I attend.
    2. I will collect certificates of completion from the webinars I participate in, and log dates/times of those
         from which a certificate of completion is not provided.
    3. I will maintain a communication log between my grade level partner and I and update it each time we
         work together on the digital platforms we use.
    4. I will maintain a communication log to track my support from the technology mentor and the
         instructional coaches.
    5. I will provide sample lessons in multiple content areas/from multiple platforms we use.
 How will progress toward my goal be monitored
    1. I will regularly check in with my grade level partner and other colleagues to compare our uses of
         technology.
    2. I will continuously be very self-reflective by journaling what I feel I have been successful with in terms
         of technology and noting what I need more improvement in to base my goal attainment strategies off
         of.
 What resources or support will be needed to reach my goal?
    1. I will need instructional resources/professional development on technology to reach my goal.
    2. I will need the support of my mentor, grade level partner, and building administrator to help me
         monitor my progress and to help me ensure I’m on track with my use of technology.
