My name is Katheryne Novick. | amlilyears old and
have been a resident of St. George for almost 10 years,
Over these last years, | have primarily worked in the food
industry while last year starting my own videography
business. On my free time, | make videos and volunteer
for SwitchPoint as a receptionist. In 2019, my daughter
and | wore residents of the local Dove shelter and
‘SwitchPoint due to domestic violence and since leaving,
have dedicated our time to helping and inspiring others. |
would lke to seize this opportunity to inspire the
community. Especially this year, | would like to have a
more direct involvement in helping repair the damage
from COVID-19. | would lke to bring the people of St.
George together and welcome them to participate in St.
George's restoration and further efforts to help middle
and lower class members of this city. If'm selected, |
would be the youngest recorded mayor in the state of
Utah. | have taken that into consideration. Although | don't
have years of office or poltical experience, Ido have
years of experience serving the people. My age is an
opportunity to incorporate and inspire young members of St. George to become politically involved. Being mayor, 1o
me, isn't about having a ttle, and it isn't just a job. Itis a
promise that | am an equal voice and representative for
this community. Itis a promise that | will do my best and
always exercise my loyally, honesty, and integrity to the
city of St. George. That my words are always supported
by my actions and even if this is temporary, having me as
mayor is a step forward.
